I am trying to reply to comments left on a story (Fire and Ice) but my replies keep showing up as new comments. It started when I tried to post a lengthy reply to a lengthy comment, but now even short replies show up as new comments. Did I break Lush with too long a reply?
Same thing has been happening to me.
It happened to me, but I was working from my phone, so I assumed I had screwed up. I deleted, and tried again, and I think the comment went in the right place the second time.

Actually, I just checked, and I was wrong. My attempted response to a comment did go up as a new comment.
Is the "edit" option on your own comments new? I wonder if it's connected.
i'm having issues with it as well. we'll get Gav on it, soon as he's done repairing my toaster oven...

Okay... so when I replied to a wonderful comment on my story... I wasn't crazy that it posted as a new comment and not as a reply to the author of the original comment. I see from this thread I'm not alone in this one.
On a positive note... if the edit feature is a wonderful new addition. Thank you for that Gav.
Ah. Yep, I’ve just had this happen too. It’s no big deal. I’ll just go back and sort it when the issue’s fixed.
Sorry, this was a problem caused when i introduced the new edit feature.
You should be able to reply to comments inline again now.
