I don't know if anyone else is having the same problem but have noticed that sometimes I get an online message saying "so and so has just signed in" and just keeps repeating and repeating (say 3 or 4 times in 10 secs.) even though that person may be say in the chat room and is not logging in and out.

Doesn't happen alot by have noticed it probably 3 times in the last 4 weeks. Even as I am typing this that black box just keeps popping up and is quite annoying on the eyes . This has been happening now for the last 30 minutes.

Thanks Trinity, it's good to be made aware of site issues, I hardly use any of the features Gav puts up, so I'm not aware of them ( don't tell Gav).

Maybe we need a fault finding team / beta testers when new site features come out / need road testing?

I have applied a patch to the online messaging system (read black boxes).

Can you let me know if you see any problems.

Hopefully being hit by mutliple black boxes is a thing of the past, unless you like that kind of thing.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the same thing happened again today.

BUT It is the same person as yesterday if that makes any difference????. I don't know if I can post the name here but if you need to know, just poke me.

OK just tried a refresh, shut down windows and then logged off and on and that didn't get rid of it.
