I need to get our database moved onto a new server. This will take a few hours to migrate all the data.
The main site will be unavailable from 5:00pm PT for about 6 hours.

We had to jump to a major version of MongoDB, which meant installing a few minor versions to perform the migration.

Hopefully things should be zipping along nicely on our shiny new hardware.

Server migrations are hard graft, especially when upgrading software components too. I've been putting mine off for ages - and it's only migrating everything from one VM to a new one. But the OS I'm on is entering EOL soon and the installed software's getting old, so I need to knuckle down and script the hell out of it to save me the drudgery.
