The server is being worked on for the next week as we're upgrading the site, and things might be going a little astray.

Please post in this thread if you're seeing strange things happening, noting exactly what's happening and where.

when logged in on home page there used to be a tab at the top that would take you back to the home page - i remember it used to be first or second one. doesn't seem to be there any longer.

Which home link are people talking about? If I'm on a story page, I see one at the top, same for the forums at the top.

Clicking the top left hand side Lush Stories logo will get you back to the front of the site from anywhere.

The rest is being worked on

We could close the site for a week I guess

I noticed that the interests area on the new profile page links to the 'interests' line on the more limited 'forum' profile, which means the text gets clipped off after two lines.

The profile format looks great--very clean and visual--but there's a data base glitch that's reading the wrong info into the "recent activity" fields. In my case, the recent activities are those of "friends," not me... still, it's interesting to see that they're up to, in a voyeuristic sort of way...

P.S. Re: the Profile "Recent Activity" display. Do you really want to include the scores that members are giving other members' stories in the "recent activity" area?

the recent activity area is contextual. if a surfer, or one of your friends looks at your profile page they see your recent activity. however, if you look at your profile page you see the recent activity (top 10) of all your friends (sorted by date).

interesting point on story scores. do people really what this information private? maybe we can make it an option to keep them hidden, what do people think?

Sorry.. I don't have internet at home and well... if I'm not at home I will never be able to move from my problems into new ones.

My great grandfather turned 100years the 6th so I went there and then I just decided to get things rolling before I got that old.

Deciding what to keep and what to throw away, when moving from a five room apartment to a small room is really hard...

Don't worry nic, I'll be back fulltime again within 3weeks.
