"The Vault" has now been retired

With so few new stories being submitted to "The Vault" of late, we have decided to close it.

Stories which were in there, will be published (with comments and votes intact) on the main page, to give them new exposure.

I'd like to say a huge thank you to all the authors who have submitted stories to that section over the years.

Nic, this might have something to do with three stories showing up on the main page carrying the 'comp' tag that have their vote totals revealed and seem to have first appeared back in the fall of 2012.

Will this take long? I have a new story ready to post, but don't want it to get pushed off the front page by these - however good they are!

Those few "golden hours" on the front page are really important to getting a story off to a good start. ☺
