There Is A Feature I Would Like Added If Possible...

Today, I commented on a New Story by a member.

On MY TIMELINE, my comments were LIKED by several others, but I'm not sure if the ORIGINAL AUTHOR sees that? Did MY COMMENT preclude OTHER PEOPLE from offering a similar view! ("Oh HE said what I would say... So I won't bother...")

I think it would encourage authors if there was a 'LIKE' button for comments, so that even if another reader agrees so much with a previous comment that they don't feel the need to add a further comment, the AUTHOR sees that the comment has been echoed and 'liked'...

This might sound SILLY if you are not a WRITER!

(But it isn't!)

I like this idea - and yes, I think it would boost not just the author's confidence (well, assuming it was a complimentary comment of course) but give kudos to the person who wrote it..

I've also suggested that it would be good if you got a notification when someone replied to a comment you'd made, as well as liked it - I rarely go back to a story once I've read it but sometimes if I have, I'll notice that the author or someone else has replied to my comment, but I've never seen it...

MAZZA ... I think this shows up on your "timeline". I'll double check on mine.

EDIT: I've got a couple folk that show as replying to a comment of mine...folk I'm "following" but not friends with yet. Might wanna check your settings...??
