A mute "replies to" or mute user facility on the forums - not a block, just a mute. I'd find it useful on long multi-page threads often peppered with off-topic conversations.
Not sure if that would be possible as the forums are third party software

Why not read some stories instead
NEW! Want a quick read for your coffee break? Why not try this... Flash Erotica: Scrubber Entirely wishful thinking... but I would KILL for a 'block selected user' from your recent activity list.
There are some friends on here that are lovely, and I love to talk to them and so on.. but i am sick to death of seeing that they've added another 20 people, or posted another 15 times on mind-numbing forum posts, or posted 10 links to their new story in a day.
Sigh, back off to dream world for me then..
What happened to your avatar Fugs?
It's a cunning plan you have there!
Damnit. I missed out on the whole donor thing. Going to have to go back to charging for cyber now. ;)
You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.
Searching and sorting of stories - I would like to be able to narrow search results by the tags. Maybe an advanced search feature where you could choose which categories and tags you'd like to find. Even more needed in the audiobooks. In the audiobooks section there aren't even the tabs to sort them. So tabs to sort and a search feature in the audiobooks section would be wonderful.
Has anyone ever considered starting a critique group for writers? I know there are a lot of writer's groups out there but it can actually be quite hard to find places to get feedback on erotica. I know there are a lot of writers on Lush who would be interested in improving their writing.
It could be run through the forum, but since people would be posting work they're not ready to share with the whole community, it would be good to restrict access. By that I just mean that people would have to request to be added to the critiquing group and could be asked to leave if they don't take it seriously.
that;s a great idea i would love to be critiqued/ critique only if i new trolls could not critique me
Hi MoW.
We have plans for a "Groups" feature, it would be perfect for this kind of thing. I am hoping the design would include the ability to start a chat room, linked to members of each particular group, should people want to discuss these things in real time. Forum style posting too would be useful, so the dialogue could be tracked and saved for future reference. It's something Gav would have to write, separate from the existing forums, that software isn't up to the task.
I'd like to be able to add images to my profile from my IPhone ..is that possible..?
I'd really like a 'like' (oh and dislike too I guess) button. Sometimes there are some really great forums posts and while they are amusing and what not, I don't always feel that I want to respond, or comment or quote or whatever, it would be nice to show my appreciation with a 'like'... (I know I've mentioned that before, so sorry for repeating!)
It would be good if there was a 'reminder' function - just to alert to birthdays of friends, that sort of thing...
Spell check would be good too actually - also a breathalyser, so that if you Drink and Lush, maybe a wee warning comes up: Are you sure you want to post this?
I'd like to be able to upload pics from my iPhone as well. I know that there was discussion about and app - I'd love that...
