I am just another one of the authors here that have had most of my stories stolen and are now on other sites ... and the pain in the ass to get my work back is ridiculous, to say the least.

It doesn't matter if you have a copyright .... date posting of stories verifies one before the other as more original.

Not sure if people already asked for it, but it would be great to have time/date stamps on online messages/pokes. Am on a very slow connection, and the messages sent to me don't always appear right away, or not until the next time I log in... and it can get very confusing. Thanks.

Could we have a 'LIKE' button on The Forum posts so that you could just 'LIKE' someone's post?

Kind of like FaceBook, so the person who posted could see who liked what they wrote...... I think it might encourage interaction between members........

nicola has said numerous times it's in the works although it will have to be a mobile version of the site bc apple doens;t let explicit apps on the store nor do amazon or google

Thank you Gav for answering my suggestion. I guess this suggestion has been answered several times now but there are 24 pages of suggestions and i dont have time to read all of them.

Heres a suggestion put a daily limit on the number of forum posts people can do.

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere and I am not a techie so don't know why it happens, but once Lush seems to get to a certain point it crashes. Is this beyond your powers to sort it out. Obviously such a popular site LOL

Would it be possible to stop people from sending requests (friend requests and chat requests) from anywhere other than your profile? It could be something that people could choose to opt in or out of. It might encourage some to read profiles before sending random requests - well, we can always hope, lol.

True, but it's only short term. If you clear your cookies and history etc, it reverts back to red.

It works to some extent.

If you're on the front of the site, and press the button, a story say in the lesbian category is pulled up. Every subsequent press of the random button brings up a lesbian story only, no other categories.

Is that deliberate? I thought if you pressed a random story button, you'd get any story out of our 10K or so, regardless of category.

Or is this the only way to do it, so that if you want a random lesbian story only, having just read one and being in that category area, it will pull up those from that category only? dontknow

If that's the case, you have to always go back to the home page first, and then press random again.

That's the way it used to work. There always was a high chance the story it picks would be a story, not everyones cup of tea. So, we respect what category you are currently in when picking a random story.

I guess now we can block categories, this might not be such an issue.

This might be too much to ask, I don't know if it is possible or not, but could there be some kind of alert wherein we get a notice if someone quotes us in the forum.

You can follow a topic in the forums already.
Doesn't show each time someone quotes you, but when someone is posting.
Since not everyone use the "quote" button when answering you, you might actually want to keep updated on the whole thread.

A little thing about that though. If you change your mail address it does not affect the forums..
The alerts will be sent to your old mail address(the one you signed up to lush with).

At the top of each thread on the right hand side there is a button called Options. If you click that, there is an option to Watch this Topic. An email will be sent to you when new posts are made. The same procedure will enable you to unwatch a topic.

Might I add I want that feature to go for all genders, not only femmes.

Hey Gav...I know it was mentioned some time back about improvements to the PM system...I recall being able to sort messages by sender mentioned as being in the works...and not a moment too soon, if you ask me...

Don't know if it was brought up before, but I was wondering if we could add other features to the messaging system...notably the ability to forward messages, and add multiple member names to a single message...

Right now it seems we can either send a message to a single recipient, or our whole friends list...it would be nice to able to send a single message to a few individuals...
