Can I suggest a ban on pubic hair threads in forums?
you limit how many private messages a member can send in a day, can you limit how many posts to the forum threads a member can post in a day? That would prevent people for hogging the fun, so to speak.

I'd like to see the ability to delete ALL private messages at once instead of one at a time.
Multiple award levels. You could have that for some awards like commentator, socialite and famous story. Okay, they're not great examples but with Famous Story, for example, you get the award at thirty thousand views. You could have similar awards at sixty and one hundred thousand views too.

I've been clearing out my inbox and it occurred to me that a threaded view would be nice, you know like Facebook has, would that save storage space as well?
I'd like more features in email. Like the ability to select a bunch of emails and mark them as read or unread. maybe be able to star emails. Also this might be too much work but it would be nice if friend requests and emails were separate like on Facebook. Actually if you did that you could disregard the previous ideas for email enhancement because the friend requests are the ones I would like mass mark as read.
I usually mass mark them and delete.
I have a suggestion.
Move the "close all" online message function to the top of them.
Or make them scrollable.
At times I am in a chat room and have been in the forums while talking in black boxes and when I get back to the chat room the whole page is filled with these black things and I do not want to refresh the room since I might lose the chat log of what has been said to me.
Having the close all option at the top would solve my problem, as it is now I have to close very many manually, before there are few enough blackies to click on "close all."
As a reader, I would like a couple of things:
• A word count displayed on each story, maybe up near the tags, so I could decide at a glance if I had time right then to read the story; and
• A "save for later" option to keep a list of marked stories in a private queue in my account.
As a writer, I would appreciate the following:
• A field on the story submission page for a note to the story verifiers, something along the lines of, "I used the misspelling 'waistland' intentionally for humorous effect. Please do not correct it."
A line on user profiles that lists other users they share their IP address with - purely so we don't have any horrible misunderstandings with regard to co-habiting members
I'm not suggesting at all that a small number of Lush users might do something as nefarious as have more than one account here - not at all. ;)

Also, I'd still really love to see a 'like/dislike' function - especially on the forums - maybe something like a -5 to +5 rating thingy... Often times some of the comments really make me laugh, or cross and sometimes I'd like to acknowledge that whilst not actually going to the bother of quoting them in my own comment...
2 features id like to see here would be
1) chat transcripts kind of like FB or google talk, where your chats become an item in your inbox, and they are a "running tab" so when you start a new chat, it continues from where you left off. also have the "online messages" added to there.
2) if on your profile you can have a list of the stories you read (opened, there is no real way of knowing if you read through them) . I don't want to add them all to my favorites, but sometimes i start looking for a story i read a few weeks ago, and have a hard time finding it.
I'd like to be able to appear "offline" when I don't feel like chatting and would rather just read
I'd like to be able to send more than 100 characters in the 'Send an Online message' box. Sometimes chat doesn't work and only typing 100 at a time gets frustrating.
Socialites - The ones who just collect hundreds of friends without any apparent reason to be here - what's the point - contribute or ship out.
