Some of those inactive accounts are authors who didn't delete their account so their stories stay on the site.

If their account gets deleted so does their hard work & that's not fair.

Lush is a FREE site. Perhaps if you really wanted to see these features, which do in fact cost real money, added, you might consider becoming a Gold Member and supporting the site financially.

First of all this site is a delight. It has inspired me to write. I have made great friendship and the Mods are so helpful for beginning authors like myself. Now that I am becoming a better writer, I go back and edit my previous work and make significant changes. Problem is that once it has its front page view, it is buried and doesn't viewed much again. I believe there are a few of my previous reads that should me considered for recommended reads but it is hard to get the attention. So if there was a mechanism to get your stories viewed again it would help. Like a category called, "For Your Consideration.

Could the sexual orientation 'straight' be changed to 'Hetrosexual'. The word 'straight' resonates a certain air of superiority. The word 'straight' is the opposite of 'Bent'. The word 'bent' is usually denoted for anything that is corrupt, such as 'bent coppers, bent politicians, etc...

I actually back this (only with "heterosexual" spelt correctly). I try to avoid using the word "straight" in this context for similar reasons.

Thirded. This site is a step above most with designations like "Trans" instead of the pejoratives other sites use. Would be great to set the curve all the way down the line.

I can't be the only one who sees "Straight Sex" and thinks "sex, and also, sex, in this category", not "heterosexual sex". I mean, I think of that category as a soupçon of sex. My own most recent story, "Tension", has masturbation, exhibitionism, anonymous sex, even a touch of fetishism in it...and I still tossed it under "Straight Sex", because it was about sex.

However, I do see the point, and agree that if the majority of people read "Straight Sex" as "Heterosexual Sex", then the category name should be changed.

Surely it doesn't really make a difference. Your story, I'm guessing, would have still gone into Heterosexual Sex, because otherwise it would have gone into Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Trans categories.

You're right that the Straight Sex category has become a catch-all for anything that doesn't really lend itself to any other category in particular.

I think the above suggestion was more about the sexual orientation section on one's profile, not the category. However, for the sake of consistency, maybe the Straight Sex category could be changed to "Sex" (I think "Hetero Sex" sounds naff).

Needs more thought.

Are you referring to the 11 folders of avatars that the site provides when you select the 'Change Avatar' option and 'View Avatars'?.

Thanks, and sorry for the typo. As far as the story category is concerned, instead of 'Hetro sex' there could be 'MF sex', i.e. implying male and female.

I just find the term 'straight' rather antiquated and somewhat insulting. The term 'straight', by default, seems to imply that everything else is 'perverted'....

The question was ask "Which improvement or features would you like to see added?" I do believe this question is too open ended and not truly base to a certain area to this site so this feedback for improvement should be looked at. This would be an improvement to the interaction between story mods and the writers.

I understand the site only wants the best for people to read or stories to be posted on here and yes there are other sites with relax rules for posting. Just that if the site wants the best then the writers should expect the best feedback also. If this is a touchy subject then I am sorry for the ones who thinks so. I will take it as my posting on here as noted and let it go after this. I did not want to start an argument over the subject with others just giving my input for improvement to the site and the people that are on here.

I will remind the story mods not all are bad story mods just there are some in the ranks that are and could cause a person such as my friend to quit this site and to write. This also might explain one reason of a high turn over rate on the site too not sure just a thought on that.

Summary execution would be a good improvement or feature to add. For those who can't express themselves in the forums or chat rooms without being able to handle their emotions responsibly, reverting to their lower nature by denigrating and insulting others, then a quick beheading might be appropriate. It's all right to disagree, but it is just ridiculous when a (supposedly) adult human being degenerates to playground behavior, calling other people names, just because they don't like and cannot handle someone else's thoughts or opinions. Addressing that issue is merely a matter of finding a good headsman. Or headswoman. Or headsperson.
