Tom Bruso is 67 yrs old, a Vietnam Vet with a serious roundhouse, wicked uppercut, gentle demeanor (until backed into a corner).
The 'kid' is a 50 yr old convicted murderer, who was wanted for parole violations. He's no longer just wanted.

EBM clearly has some mental issues and in those post-fight interviews he makes claims which clearly are not true. For instance, in one interview he claimed the black guy punched him three times, the video clearly shows one punch which doesn't hit him in the face as claimed by EBM either. He then gets up and pummels the guy.
Both individuals are fucked. Shame something stupid like this gets so much attention.

A website forum or chatroom - is really an invitation to participate in a group conversation. You are allowed to voice your ideas or opinions or simply sit back and digest what others type.
A conversation on a public bus is something to be ignored unless it is a conversation directly addressed to you. Like most conversations in a public arena - which you may walk into and out of.
Bruso's conversation was with the fellow he was sitting next to. The other 50 year old fellow bus passenger, overheard a comment and assumed he could just pipe in with his own comments. Once those two parties began talking back n forth - they each felt that the other person was speaking in derogatory terms to one another. The one passenger interjected himself into a conversation he wasn't invited into...and he made assumptions and then spoke to those. The end result was broadcast around the internet in mere hours.
Bruso made efforts to get up, walk away and go to the front of the bus to avoid further confrontation. The other fellow kept lipping off, urged on by a group/gang mentality of other people on the bus who also caught just parts of what the initial misunderstood confrontation was 'maybe all about'.
It was an ugly scene, Painter. I agree totally. And it is sad that it got blown up like it did. But I think that is more a comment on the immediacy of internet communications, than anything else. That same kind of scene is seen more often - in major cities in America, than we know, still. That it was captured on someone's cell-phone video recorder - and then - plastered onto youtube, is the only reason we even know it occurred.
