Grubs?
They look foul it has to be said. Duck foetus, and Ox Penis? Those are things I definitely wouldn't eat. Dog and Rats as well. Ew.
The duck thing is called Balut. It's not as bad as you think.
I've been to China and a lot of SE Asia. They eat a lot of things that North Americans and Uk people find gross. I've tasted a lot of them and they aren't as bad as you would think.

I have tried many things....but I gage it by how it looks ....if it don't look appealing to my like that up there.....that would be a hell no on my part to try it.....LOL!!!...

I'm big on smell. In order to keep true to myself and most of the time I can, I don't smell something before I taste it. If I screw up and smell it first, I'm done for.
I like eating balut, just not the fetus part xD
It's a lot better when they cook the egg at a stage where the fetus is there, but not really recognizable as a duck looking thing.

I was such a picky eater as a child that I never minded the nights when all we had to eat was Cheerios or Chicken Noodle Soup. As an adult I like to try new things...but I am just the opposite of Chef...I MUST smell it first...if the smell is unpleasant...ain't no way it's crossing my lips!!
