Real men wear nothing at all. That is the proper way they are to be worn.
I'd heard a quip once:
A tourist asked a Scot tour guide: "Miss, what is a sporan?"
To which the tour guide replied, matter of factly: "That's the furry pouch between a Scotsmans legs."
Ah a Scotsman in all the traditional gear... yummy!!
That's the way we like to be for you ladies yummy.
Well, let's see. I'm part Scot, part Native American Indian. So, how do you like it, Kilt or Loin Cloth? LOL
Well, the loincloth is easy. Haven't worn one in YEARS though. The tough one is the Kilt. Since I'm not really all that sure about my family's old Clan ties, I'm not sure what tartan to wear. I'm a bit of a stickler for historical accuracy. I've debated reading into the heraldry of clan color and developing my own. However, years ago I was nearly banished to sending the kids to school in only solid colors, so I'm not so certain I'd trust my own design intentions, lol.
Wish I could remember the website that researches your clan for you. You give them your last name, and where, if you know your family comes from and they find your tartan.
Hubs is trying to get in shape for the Highland games here this year. Should be interesting.
I want to watch him toss his caber. LOL
Problem is my surname comes from the Native American side of the family. We'll get it figured out eventually.
Use the surname of the one that's the Celt Mr.S
