Fresh from the garden blueberries? They’re so much better than store-bought

We use frozen wild blueberries from a big Canadian chain (Loblaws' President's Choice brand). If I lived up in cottage country, where blueberries are plentiful, then I would go pick them wild.

We’ve got 6 blueberry bushes in our garden. But because we live in the South, they don’t get as plump and juicy as the ones we grew in the Pacific Northwest. But they’re still better than the store-bought ones around here.

Yeah, the frozen Loblaw's ones are actually better than most of the "fresh" store bought ones. Right now, though, the store bought ones here aren't too bad since the BC crop is hitting stores. I use a variety of berries, including blueberries, on cereal when I have that for breakfast. Also raspberries, strawberries, blackberries.

Nothing fancy. Bacon and eggs.

Burgers

I’m making burger bowls as we speak. It’s burger ingredients in a bowl, without the bun. Divide lettuce into bowls and top with beef, tomatoes, pickles, onion, cheddar, and avocado. Add mustard or whatever you like. I use ground turkey instead of beef.
