EVERYBODY! May I have your attention please…

After months of careful planning, Chelle and I have decided to add to the already wonderful “Lush Wine Bar!” We both love art and we felt it was only right to add our very own Art Gallery. Please stop by and take a look around, champagne, fruits and cheese for everybody.

ENJOY!
The Gallery is out by the Garden…

The vivid sculptures will make sure you know exactly which way you’re headed.

The Gallery...

This is just a small preview of what you’re sure to find inside...

Wow! Mara and Chelle... I love the new additions. What a beautiful art gallery. And the garden is so sensual. The first sculpture just looks so blissful.

I just did some shopping especially for your Art Gallery Opening, and I decided to choose something appropriate with a grecian goddess flair. I can only hope to feel as serene as those sculptures by the end of my tour.

Thank you for the wine and cheese! It's just what I needed after a long day of working out all the kinks of the big opening at the Performing Arts Theatre.

I also brought you some Veuve Rose champagne to help celebrate!

You look absolutely stunning as always, DD. I went for a more dramatic look with this red dress; I have to show the devil in me… Chelle was worried about me, so she sent me with body guards. I think I just might have a little fun tonight!

Another one for the collection- the name tag on this one read: redneckus birthus. It hails from the South, I think.
You’re doing a wonderful job DD, so we all got together and got you a few gifts. Hope you enjoy them!

With love from your friends; Mara, Chelle, Xuani and Rocco.
I hope you don't mind I helped myself to the Veuve Champagne. Wonderful beverage.

I can just see you dolls gliding around with the ballet, barely touching the floor. Bella.

I'm so glad you opened the Gallery, Mara. I've already commissioned some indoor works. I'll show the outdoor installation art when it gets here.

This next one is just outside the entrance. I'm sure you saw it when you came in.

I've installed some new showers, just inside the pool area. I don't think this woman liked it when I took the picture.

I really like this next piece. What do you think?

Curve around to the right of that, and you'll see this. It's like a Stairway to Heaven, isn't it?

I don't have much time to stay (these installations really burned up the time), so I had Anton whip up a batch of Chipotle Chilaquiles. Enjoy some while you're perusing the art.

Kisses the dolls on the cheek, sweetly...
Wow Rocco... those are some fabulous suspension/installation art pieces. I really love The Stairway to Heaven piece. It makes me want to (try) to climb those cylindrical steps. In fact all of them are amazing, except for maybe the one with the flying animal carcasses... I want to imagine those are faux animals, but something tells me the artist wanted to keep it as close to reality as possible. Poor little guys...Obviously the alpha wolf was not thinking when he led the pack into that mess...

And ladies, thanks so much for the diamond earrings (yay diamonds!), and the sweet and thoughtful ballet statue and flowers. You guys are the best! Of course I did not forget any of you....

I did a little dancing at the Chanel boutique earlier:

And I picked up some parting gifts for all you...

Some Chanel clutches for Xuani, Mara and Chelle:

The hottest men's luxury watch for Rocco:

And more Veuve for everyone!!

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to the Performing Arts Theatre for our evening performance. I think I'll wear my new diamond stud earrings and something flirty and fun for the evening. I know it's a little short, but with my critically serious expression and unparalleled commitment to the arts, nobody will doubt my competence in bringing you all the very best theatre options from all the disciplines... (and still hoping some Lushies will add their favourites too!)

Tonight's show comes from the world of Contemporary Ballet. This piece from Complexions NY really is the creme de la creme of strength training, balance and skill. The athleticism of this couple is truly remarkable! Enjoy the show (posted below).

The same GQP demanding we move on from January 6th, 2021 is still doing audits of the November 3rd, 2020 election.
Thank you WellMadeMale for your wonderful contributions of modern art for the new gallery. You forgot to give us the title of those art pieces so that we can engrave it on the plaques in front of each exhibit.

The second exhibit piece looks rather interesting. Do those food groups go together? Oh well, I guess that's what makes modern art so subjective to individual interpretation... Very evocative work. In my opinion... I think it really makes a statement about the vast complexities involved in energizing our society to greater global progress (and prosperity)... Did I get that interpretation right?

Anton just called me and said they dropped off a few more paintings for the Art gallery, I was out by the garden anyways so I figure I can drop them off.

Then go back to the locker rooms and change before heading out the Theater. Is it ok if I bring my friend 50-cent?

These are just a few of the new paintings in the gallery, feel free to stop by after the DD’s show is over. These should be nice conversational pieces if you’re with your significant other - or if you’re out on the prowl.

We have a little bit of everything to satisfy all of the tastes… Please remember we’re updating regularly so stop by again, thanks!
Of course Mara! We're so happy 50-Cent is able to join us tonight.

Please be sure to bring him through our exclusive VIP Theatre entrance.

I have front row seats reserved for you both, and then backstage passes for later!

In the meantime, here is some champagne to get you started!

Oooh and thanks for the invite to the Gallery! I'll be sure to stop by afterwards. I'm definitely out on the prowl tonight and as we all know... the hottest men go to the art gallery openings. I'm sure I'll be getting lucky later... *fingers crossed*
… A few hours later …

DD, the show was amazing - my favorite act was “The Fairy Doll.” Simply breathtaking! [video posted below]
Oh, I'm so glad you enjoyed it Mara! Yes, that's one of my favourite dance pieces too....

Now that I'm at the Art Gallery Opening, I see that it's a huge success! Wow, what a crowd!

Gee, I'm having so much fun here admiring all the spectacular art, and hunting for really hot men who also appreciate art. I wonder if Prince Charming will come my way tonight?... If only Picasso was still alive. I hear he was quite a sexual lothario in bed!

Good morning Lushies!

Yes DD last night was a success, first the Theater and then the Art exhibit! It was an enchanting evening, full of promise and promiscuity.

Anton has set out the breakfast buffet, for all of our early birds.

I’ll take mine out on the balcony, baby…

After a hearty meal, I think a pedicure is in order. All this running around has taken its toll on my lovely feet.

Anyone want to join me?
Greetings Lush-ious Art Lovers!

Today is a very special day at the Performing Arts Theatre. That’s why I’m wearing this extremely serious expression, as well as this killer Marchesa gown.

Today we shall pay homage to the most glorious of all the string instruments. Yes, today… we shall worship the cello! Behold its beauty. I simply cannot keep my hands off this exquisite piece of wood.

In honor of some of the great pieces of music composed for the cello, you are cordially invited to the Lush Performing Arts Theatre to witness a production that I have called “Colors of Cello”.

So, why the cello? Well, did you know that recently the British classical music magazine Muso surveyed its readers and found that, of all of the instruments in the orchestra, the cello is the "sexiest instrument." There could be natural innate reasons for why we respond so naturally to the cello. Did you know that the cello has been described as the closest sounding instrument to the human voice? Perhaps that’s part of the allure. All I know is I find it crazy sexy! A little cello music goes a long way with me.

In fact here’s a little suggestion. Take a long sensual bath, relax, and have a glass of your favourite red wine, or two. Close your eyes, and listen to a song composed for the cello. Imagine that your body is the cello… Your fingers are the uhmm… bow. Try keeping in rhythm or tempo to the variations in notes… until you finally build to that climactic crescendo! Classical music suddenly becomes a lot more fun than you’d expect!

So without further ado, I give you the following Theatre Performances:

1. Astor Piazzolla’s Libertango performed by Yo-Yo Ma. Intense and spirited, and perfect for the Argentine Tango! (first video posted below)

2. Meditation from Thais by Jules Massenet, also performed by Yo-Yo Ma. My best advice is to really crank this one on the speakers. It’s one of my favourites and it will just transport you to a place of bliss. (second video posted below)
And after all that sweet music, yes, Mara... I'm definitely in the mood for some pampering at the Lush spa... I'll join you for that pedicure!

Followed directly by some relaxation at the beach. Ahhh... So glad all our artistic endeavours are going over so well... I sure hope some other Lush members will stop by to let us know what they think of all the new resort renovations!

Hey yall, just sitting here and enjoying some wine...
Welcome Holly! I'm with the others getting the pedicure- my little feet get so sore, I go without shoes whenever I can because of it! I even do it at work, but people usually notice because it makes me so much shorter.

Anton joined me in the mudbath, and as usual we got carried away, but as you can see, the fun ended prematurely. Poor guy, I think it's the stress. We keep expanding and working later and later hours around here. He needs a break soon.

Shower time is always fun- the shower attendant wrote on my belly- funny, Jose. Really Funny.VhSlLJIB3jnbc0Ko

So I think I'll take Anton for a long walk along the beach, try to relax him a little, customer service depends on it! It's so gorgeous once you turn the corner and get away from all the hustle bustle of the resort.

You wanna come with us, Holly? You can leave your shoes in the bar, it's cool.lJ31vIqSA2tnqjPu

DD, it’s always a pleasure having you around. You know Anton just gave me this lovely purse – I hadn’t seen it he said it was a present from you. THANK YOU! I think I’ll carry it around with me today while I run some errands.

You know I share your love for the cello, I agree it’s very sensual. I love Jazz for the same reason, I can lay back close my eyes and let the music take me to a different world, one that’s full of bliss and where everybody worships Mara…

You know DD, if you have time you should join me. A friend of mine invited me to this cozy seafood place in Phoenix, AZ. It’s a small Mexican place, no need to get all dressed up. They also have live music there – and if we get lucky we might even see them play the “tololoche” one of my favorite instruments, next to the accordion. [video posted below]

Xuani, Holly, you guys should join us!
Oh, great post Mara! I wasn't that familiar with the Tololoche before, but I agree, it looks virtually identical to the cello! So interesting! And it sounds so festive!

Great Mexican restaurant too! It's putting me in the mood for my trip next week!

If you have the right contacts, perhaps we can get this hottie to perform on the Tololoche at the Performing Arts Theatre sometime soon!

Espinoza Paz, of course I know him! He’s my paisano… I called him up right now and is willing to meet us at the restaurant and sing just for YOU – DD, you’ll love what he has in store for you. [video posted below]
