Yes, the vibe is definitely sweet in here Nicola... so many interesting personalities. Always keeps things exciting. Thanks for giving us a place to imbibe and share, and for giving Anton a place to work to keep him in school. God knows he can't get by on his looks forever.

Well, its been a long week, and an even longer Friday (after a late night without any time to recover). Tonight I'm offering up the lower level of the Lush wine bar. The cool lighting and chill atmosphere should help everyone unwind in time for the weekend.

The drink of choice is the Saketini with a sprig of rosemary. Looks delicious doesn't it? A perfect little treat with an unexpected twist. If the patrons like it, Anton has assured me that he will add it to the permanent drink menu. And I think that it's important to be as adventurous with our cocktails as it is to be adventurous with our... ehem... never mind. Enjoy the drink!

To start the evening off, Moby's "The Sky is Broken"... very sexy poetry set to music. In fact this is still one of my staple favourite hot songs, despite all the years that have passed since it was released. Great music never ages. In fact I suspect this is what first started my fixation with crashing thunderstorms, dark nights, and hot sex.

Phew... Last night was a tough evening covering the Wine Bar! Anton definitely needs a spanking for not showing up to work. Lots of drinks to be served. It was quite the busy spot. But luckily I know how to work it, and made sure that everything looked smooth and effortless. And being a bartender does have its privileges...

I was glad when Trimble showed up, because not only does he know how to put back the snifters of cognac, but he is also a very generous tipper. Naturally, I tried to figure out the best way to maximize my potential, so I even dressed up in the outfit I figured he'd like most! And let me tell you, by the time the night was over, I knew my shoe-shopping dreams were starting to become a reality.

So first thing this morning, I had a delicious beach infused cocktail while I rested my weary feet, and counted my tips. Nothing like a fruity umbrella drink to start off a weekend of fun!

And then I ran off and bought a delicious pair of red Louboutin sandals that will be sure to take me through the summer!

Thanks to Trimble and the rest of the Friday night crew for helping out a girl in need of new footwear! While I will happily hand the bartending duties back to Anton, I'm sure I'll be back some other evening. It's so nice to see more people coming into the Lush Wine Bar! I hope we continue to see more Lush regulars coming back again and again!

Good afternoon, Bar-ettes. I enjoyed another swim and decided to grab a great lunch on my way to the Wine Bar Theater®. You can see Pixie off in the distance, soaking up the sun.

I don't know what movie to choose, from our vast selection that's available. Do you have any ideas? Maybe you can post a vid of a favorite.

Dancing Doll, you know how to put warmth in a cool drink. I'm sure you made a chunk of change with tips, too.

My Dior suite got...crumpled. Well, you can't blame us. When TG and I go at it, we can't wait. evil4

Mara, I bought you some diamond ear buds, to help take away the troubles from a hard night. Mmm, that Bloody Mary looks fantastic.

I'm off to the theater, after I towel off these pecs, and will return for some cuisine. What do you recommend I dine on tonight, from our fabulous menu?

Rocco, I hope you enjoyed the menu last night. There is nothing better than fresh seafood straight from the serene and unpolluted ocean directly adjacent to the Lush Wine Bar...Hmm... we might need to start referring to it as the Lush Wine Compound... I absolutely love the new expansions. Especially the movie theatre. I'm sure that will be put to good use very soon! Hopefully some Lushies will make some good recommendations... (hint hint....).

Anyway, regarding last night's seafood buffet... my favourite was definitely the lobster with drawn butter... Mmmm.... what was your favourite Rocco?

Now that it's Sunday morning again, it's time to continue to indulge! It's rainy in my corner of the world at the moment, so definitely a lazy end to the weekend is in store. I'll have Anton serve up a delicious breakfast for everyone...

Good afternoon, Dancing Doll and the rest. Well, I enjoyed some simple "weekend food" done in the Gordon Ramsay style, of course. It has capers, basil, and cherry tomatoes.

I'm not even a seafood fan, but that lobster looks delectable. Maybe I'll have that tonight. If Anton recommended that, I'm sure we still have plenty.

We were talking about Rat Pack music last night, so I thought I'd show all of you this one. You don't have to say if you remember it or not. evil4

I had to light a doll's cigarette, and couldn't help but notice the similarities between our fine establishment and the Sands.

Good afternoon Lushies,

I needed a foot rub after the march last night, Anton did a great job at relaxing me.

Thanks for the ear buds Roc, I used them while getting pampered they fit like a dream. I wanted to lay out in the sun and soak up the rays for a while - I was beyond comfortable until my tummy started rumbling.

Anton had a wide selection of finger food at hand…. Mmmm delicious! I’ll take a few of each Anton, and a strawberry limeade please.

I hope I’m able to fit into my skinny jeans after this feast.

Excellent Chinese foot therapy and detox.

Just couldn't resist this adorable little dress.. I have a thing for the Grecian style. Simple pearls to accessorize, I can be sensible about somethings, however.. I think I lost my head for the shoes, who could resist such tempting Manolo's though? Aren't they something?

Is it bad when the shoes cost more the dress and jewelry?

And in honour of the Wine Bars first successful week, the kitchen staff had cooked up a delicious South African spread with a selection of Uva Mira Wines if anyones up for dinner.

The Lush Wine Bar
keeps expanding!

Rocco, the visionary man that he is, clearly sees the way of the future for our little wine bar- we need dancing, we need live entertainment, we need first class suites, we need gourmet dining, and of course- just like the Sands in Las Vegas- we need a casino!

It's got the games, it's got the excitement, it's got the glamour, baby! 3601

What better way to party the night away when the feet get too tired for the dance floor, the floor show is over, but there's still plenty of magic left in the night? I think my spending spree on clothes is about over, so you won't be seeing me parade much out for you ladies in the near future, unless it's lingerie or bikinis, but I did find this elegant gown:

Never told me his name, but he sure was smooth and interesting. No slouch in the sack either. So anyway, a few of us decided that "Kyle" is the best choice to run the casino. He has a calming effect on people, is wise, and notices all. I think he has experience in this line of work too, he sure looks familiar standing guard over the craps game.

And for more informal gambling, Roc-afella insisted that we have a blackjack table on the side of the pool, too! Dancing Doll took the first dealer shift, doesn't she look great dealing cards? icon_smile

And while all this is going on, while it's still light out I'll be soaking up some rays with the other beautiful girls and boys-

The pool is my place, at least until I feel like a spa treatment to fix the sun's effects on my skin- but it's totally worth it, i love a good pool, and we have a great one here at Lush.

Now that we have all these nice features, anyone spot any celebrities yet? Any tales of wild behavior by you or others? Let's hear them!

Great ideas LadyX! And you know how I love to make those tips... I don't mind working a few blackjack shifts. I enjoy getting the inside scoop on who the high rollers are in this place anyway! I'll think of it as undercover work!

I should also say that my real passion is Texas Hold 'Em... With that game, I like to both deal and play. And I've cleaned out many an arrogant poker player in my time. They never see it coming. I count it as one of the benefits of being able to play the 'blonde ditz' role to my ultimate advantage... Oh well, as the old saying goes, "Poker is a lot like sex, everyone thinks they are the best, but most don't have a clue what they are doing!". So who wants to play with me?

I'll play with you GDD- we should get a game going! Anton came back here to wake me up for my afternoon spa treatments, one thing led to another and things got a little out of control. Now- I had a full deck before, I hope none got caught in his pants when he took off out of here. These cards flew everywhere, I should've been more careful.

I haven't had much practice, but I know enough to know I could probably be a good player if I actually played more. Maybe now I can take some mens' money the same way you have, GDD.

Ooh I like this new addition; I only wish I was better at playing cards.

Rocco has volunteered to teach me out by the pool. I don’t know if it’s because it’s Monday or what – but it all seems like gibberish to me.

I guess Rocco gave up as well, you’ll find us playing go fish and soaking up the rays.

It’s not long before Rocco is bored out of his mind, I can see it in his eyes. He’s just too much of a gentleman to say something. I don’t want to see my comrade suffer so I make him an offer he can’t refuse… “Let’s go skinny dipping Roc!”

May be one of you lovely ladies could teach me, I want to be as good as you Dancing_Doll!
