We had pigs in a blanket. It was different....my son saw it on Emeril Live....lol. It's hotdogs sliced open and filled with cheese and then wrapped in bacon.

Got our 4th BBQ menu all planned!
Tri tip, venison steaks, Nathan's Hot Dogs (a MUST!), Linguica sausages, and some really tasty chicken kabobs.
My world famous macaroni salad, 3 bean salad, fresh seedless watermelon, Yakima cherries and homemade ice cream!
Hubby went his usual overboard at the fireworks stand and dropped nearly two hundred dollars, so we should have a festive, tasty, and highly flammable 4th!

Ate it all myself! We usually have about 50 people over for the 4th, and they all bring plenty of stuff, too. Haven't gotten to weird cravings yet. Wonder when they'll come along?

I made fettucine with chicken, baby spinach, capsicum and mushrooms in a creamy mustard sauce. And apparently (I learned this tonight) chicken cooks quicker when you remember to turn the heat on under the pan.
