BBQ'd ribs with basmati rice, baked cauliflower with cheddar cheese topping, side dish of baby greens with croutons, shredded carrots and peas and a soft balsamic vinegar/olive oil .... with sauvignon blanc ...

Huevos con Chorizo, with spanish rice, beans, and....fried ice cream! I've lost all but three of the pounds I put on in pregnancy, and damnit, I deserve ice cream! I've never made fried ice cream myself, I hope I don't make too much of a mess!

I am marinating chicken in lemon and lime with some minty bits. Will have Green Nutty Wild Rice (the green is from parsley ... its very crunchy and lovely), asparagus steamed and carrots with a touch of honey with that tender tasty chicken!

A lovely Chardonnay (BC winery) and fresh french bread completes Sunday Dinner!

Homemade beef barley soup, with carrots, onions and celery in it ... ooh and chunks of tomatoes!! Served with fresh calabrese bread and some goat cheese.

It's a weird sounding thing but pretty and really good. Here ya go.

1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk. (or your preferred brand)

1 Medium container Cool Whip whipped cream, thawed of course.

1 Medium can crushed pineapple, drained

1 Medium can Mandarin oranges, drained

1 can cherry pie filling

1 handful of coconut optional

Mix all in a large bowl and refridge overnight.

I serve it in pretty dessert glasses or wine glasses with either a sprig of mint on top or a stemmed cherry. Or nothing at all cause it's just a pretty color.

BTW, I hate cherries but love this dessert.

chicken parmesan

angel hair pasta

homemade french bread garlic bread

the sauce has been going for about 10 hours now

in a while i will bread up the chicken and par fry it and top it off in the dish... bread i will make in a while too

all that will be left to do is the spaghetti when its time other than just popping the chicken and bread in the oven

Just going up to get the groceries for some Fajitas - which isn't very wintery or Christmasy.

Savoury chicken, with bell peppers, red onions, homemade tomato salsa and avocado smash, freshly drizzled in lime juice ..... a bit of monty jack cheese and sour cream. Then, served with some Mexican Rice (spicy) and a little cucumber salad.

(testing out a lime cheesecake recipe too)
