i made yummy chicken, browned and then simmered gently in a sauce of onion, garlic paprika, cane vinegar and chicken broth. then wilted fresh spinach with it and served it over butter mashed potatoes...mmmmmm
Some wine with lashings of Lush.
I had a big lunch so not hungry now...

takes a loooooooong time with most of it on the crust
but sooo much better than the pizza shops and 1/4 the price

Made this last week - but have been requested to do it again for guests tonight:
Beef Wellington - crisp green beans with crumbled feta - sweet baby carrots and a light sprinkling of cinnamon - roasted potatoe wedges, unpeeled.
Dessert; Fruit medly terrine (sp) - swirl of melted chocolate - strawberries (cut and fanned) - (HINT - try a very light sprinkling of black pepper over strawberries - several minutes before cutting and plating up)
Tonight a celebration dinner!!
A 28 day aged New York striploin steak with melted blue cheese and a roasted clove of garlic, herbed risotto with baby spinach and a caesar salad paired with a 2007 Cabernet Sauvingon from Napa Valley

who knows? not sure if there will be dinner tonight. But thats OK because I'm cooking some killer steaks on Friday.
