Tonight, Sunday is Ruebans. Tomorrow on the grill for Memorial Day. I'm going to celebrate my Marine by pampering him. Burgers, potato salad, baked beans, Guinness Stout. He likes comfort food.
I'm going to count the scars on his body and on his soul and thank my lucky stars that he came home to me alive and mostly in one piece.
was going to cook a pork loin roast, but now I think it will be spaghettie and meatballs. I'm feeling lazy and the roast is too much work LOL
I already had the hot dogs, with Dijon mustard and onions.
I don't mind going out and eating a little mexican every now and then....so long as she reciprocates ;)

Homemade meatballs with spaghetti.
Made my man pig slop.....no, not the actual thing, it's a recipe, browned ground beef, drained, cooked with cream of mushroom soup and a mix of peppers, and then poured over a bed of chow mein noodles and baked with cheese on top. Old family recipe, and it's quite good!
