Are we all ready for the holidays?

Got just about all of my shopping done, my brother and his wife and kids will be staying with us, so it's going to be a crowded house this year. Somehow it was decided that the women were going to do all the cooking, so we all decided the men were going to do all the cleanup, and if they don't like it, they can eat elsewhere..:-) No sledding or skiing because of the baby, but hubby promised my first ever horse-drawn sleigh ride this year, which should be fun!
I can also still toss a mean snowball so the family snowball fight is still on! (I don't expect anyone to really aim for me, so I predict a win for me this year!) This year we're going to have goose for dinner, and my sis-in-law will make her incredible handmade chocolates, along with all kinds of goodies for everyone and on Christmas Eve, the remastered special edition of "It's A Wonderful Life".

Of course, the BIG deal is in February, but that's another 9-10 weeks away..... icon_biggrin

No Maam,,,we are never read at our home,, but the upside is that it is just the 2 of us here ,, So we don't have a big family thing happening,,The children all have their own families to share with.
Am I getting this correct ,,,Is there a Castlequeen Jr. on the way?

We're getting a tree soon. Don't want it too dead before the 25th.Just wish it would get cold so my scrooge would get in the mood.
I haven't even started making Christmas cookies yet. I am making a red velvet cake for x-mas dessert though.

I'am trying hard not to think about xmas yet. I'm not sure if I will move house christmas week, or the 4th Jan 2010. I have boxes packed in the living-room already, so not sure if I have the room to put a tree up anyway. Grrrrrrrrr, just wish I knew if i was moving before or after christmas. I must say that Lush is keeping me occupied and less stressed out. I keep stubbing my toe on all the boxes grrrrrrrr must keep calm haha evil4

I didn't even begin my holiday shopping! All I did was get a place ticket to see my family for Christmas and sent out e-cards to everyone I knew. The rest of my money is going towards my move. Several boxes are packed and ready to go and what I don't take is going up for sale on Craigslist.

Once I get settled into my new apartment, everyone's invited over for a party!
