Since The Lounge is in a bit of a 007 mood (meaning lots of martinis and card games), thought I'd toss one more in. Who do you think is the best of Bond's villains/anagonists? Feel free to name both a main villain (e.g. Goldfinger or Blofeld) and a henchman (e.g. Oddjob or Jaws).
For my part, I like Rosa Klebb (Lotte Lenya) and Donovan Grant (Robert Shaw) in From Russia with Love, but Ernst Stavro Blofeld (various actors over the series, Donald Pleasance was my favorite) was lurking behind that operation as well as all the nastiness up until Diamonds are Forever so has to be the definitive, though not necessarily the best, Bond villain.
For sidekicks, I like Oddjob (Harold Sakata). Jaws (Richard Kiel) was good in The Spy Who Loved Me but using him again in Moonraker kind of ruined the character. Baron Samedi in Live and Let Die (Geoffrey Holder) was a nice touch in the voodoo-heavy plot but I'm not overly fond of the movie.
