Google is giving it's employees $1000.00 Christmas bonus and paying the taxes on it. If that's not nice enough, everyone is starting the new year with a 10% pay raise.

I want to work for Google.

I use Google...does that count???

same, i definitely think it should silly
I've seen their offices. Talk about The place to work. Lounge chairs in a darkened room with soothing sounds to de-stress with. Gourmet dining room and you can invite your family to eat with you, I think it's once a week. The list is endless.
But then don't you have to live in California?

Oh no no no. Mine is much better. We have many perks here as a Lush Team Member. Why, I even get to use the bathroom once a week as long as the boss isn't in there at my allotted 2 minute time. Plus if I'm real good that week, Gav let's me pet his monkey. You know the one that does the coding.

Yes, Mountain View Ca. I think it would be worth the move. They are supposed to have offices around the world now. I got this from their website. What's available to employees.

* Local expressions of each location, from a mural in Buenos Aires to ski gondolas in Zurich, showcasing each office’s region and personality.
* Bicycles or scooters for efficient travel between meetings; dogs; lava lamps; massage chairs; large inflatable balls.
* Googlers sharing cubes, yurts and huddle rooms – and very few solo offices.
* Laptops everywhere – standard issue for mobile coding, email on the go and note-taking.
* Foosball, pool tables, volleyball courts, assorted video games, pianos, ping pong tables, and gyms that offer yoga and dance classes.
* Grassroots employee groups for all interests, like meditation, film, wine tasting and salsa dancing.
* Healthy lunches and dinners for all staff at a variety of cafés.
* Break rooms packed with a variety of snacks and drinks to keep Googlers going.
If I recall correctly from a show I watched a couple of years ago, all of the food at the cafés is locally grown and every Friday, they set up a farmer's market so that employees can get fresh, locally grown produce for their weekend.
Executives must be getting a little worried about the amount of brain drain and employees defecting to Facebook, LinkIn etc. It's not like they can't afford it.

But then I would think due to the level of competition for talent in Silicon Valley, they would be doing more than small bonuses and 10pc pay increases...
I work for myself, and my boss isn't that generous.
Wow, I'm happy if the employer has running water.
My company gave me two days off last year. Bet no-one can top that!
