Ok I know I am not the only on here that is not working. But......does anyone know of any LEGIT work from home options? I am getting really scared now and its only been 3 full working days since I have worked. Ad's in the paper are few and far between and IF I can get unemployment I will only be getting $130 a week (yeah live off of that). Anyway not trying to be a cry baby or anything.....just looking for some ideas!

Avon, Mary Kay, Party light candles, tastefully simple......those are a few companys that let you do things at home but you do shows also ...been thinking of trying some myself.

Home shows seem to be the ideal - but you would usually work evenings heading out by 6ish .. and home, who knows when. All depends on your lifestyle. Also, usually with home shows - your friends are needed to start you off, the friends of friends chain.

I looked into those Work At Home gigs, and even had one call me. I told him, "Sure, send me all the information. I'm interested in working from home without a fee." He never called back. I never found one legit one.
Go to Careerbuilder, Monster, your state's job board (mine was Michworks), and JobServ, which has government jobs. After you sign up in those places, set up Job Search Agents, with key words you have from your experience and the job you seek. Those Agents will deliver daily results to your inbox. Post your resume online at those sites, too.

I don't know if you get it in the states, but here you a lot of 'call lines' like helping to quit smoking and stuff like that. Here you don't need and previous qualifications they just send you on a small crash course. Maybe that could work for you?
Pixie - a lady friend of mine has been working at her home for the last 2.5 years...listening to, and watching videos of - radio and tv commercials - and then rating them on a scale of 1-10..ten being highest - for a variety of 'things'.
She's been receiving downloads across her broadband connection, every Sunday afternoon in the 2 to 4 Gb range in size. These things come to her as MP3s and AVIs. She gets paid 9 to 12 bucks an hour, depending on how many she listens to or watches and then rates.
She's 45, a stay at home mom, divorcee who hadn't worked in over 20 years and didn't have much of what she felt was a presentable resume'. It's helped her get by.
