For 99.9% of people that I know face-to-face I absolutely keep Lush a secret from them. There's a select few that know I visit adult forums and chat rooms (Lush isn't the only site that I visit) and that I write the ocassional piece of erotica but for the overwhelming majority I fully intend to never let them in on my online escape. There's a certain freedom and release that comes with expressing secret desires behind the safety of an avatar with other friendly strangers.

A little of both. I don't publicize it, but my close friends, my wife, and my other partners all know that I am here. As a writer of non-erotic fiction, and a participant in other fields, I do try not to rub this aspect of my life in everyone's face. For example, my family definitely do not know, who have a hard enough time dealing with my polyamory. I think that seven people know, not including myself.

I haven't shared it with anyone, but it just hasn't really come up. I am pretty open with most of my sexual experiences/fantasies and most of my closer friends know that I used to be in a swinger group when I was younger (with much older members). I think being on Lush is a lot less shocking than that. There might be a couple specific fantasies I would rather keep secret though, so not sure that I would give my account name.
