Often a question is asked or comment is made on various forums and a week or so later there have been a few or many replies and no aparrent follow up by the original author.
Why ask or comment if you are not going to follow up?
I have even PM'd a couple of posters and even then no reply.
There is a box one can tick at the line above "post" that will enable replies to be received by email. Use it please.
