There are several options, ranging from topical measures to more drastic things like surgical removal. I'm no expert, and skin types are different, so not everything works for everyone. Coco butter does the trick for me, but only on my most recent scars. I'm fairly clumsy, so I'm always scraping myself up, so I just do coco butter once they start to scab over, and the scar is gone by the time the scratch is healed.

Over the years I have collected a number of scars and to be honest I have never tried to hide any of them. I do not advertise, but, many of them do have a story to tell.
Vitamin E... Rub that on them
hmmmm thank you SeaSiren, I'll give that a try.
Rosehip oil is one of the best scar reducers
I have many surgical scars which I have managed to fade out SUPER well by using Bio-Oil... It's really effective, especially since cocoa butter stings my skin. I think you can get it in most pharmacies or in the drugs/medicine aisle in supermarkets.
For reference, my incisions were about 5 inches in length and to begin with the scar was about 2cm wide. It is now half that length and about 0.5cm wide, and it's also the same colour as the skin around it, so it barely shows up unless I'm really SUPER COLD and it goes purple. I used the oil once or twice a day to start with and I noticed a difference after 3 days. It's been a year now and although I stopped using it for a while the results are still noticeable.
I have 2 scars, a 1954 DeSoto and a 1938 Studebaker sedan.
