nicola,
Thank you so much for sharing that link.
I love Bowie, have ever since I heard him the first time; and a bonus for me, "Life On Mars" is my favorite song, quickly followed by almost everything else he ever did. Minus a few of the more disco sounding ones. And lets be honest, yes, 'Labyrinth' is a great movie, but most women (and several men) watch it over and over again simply to watch Bowie.

It's really funny, Bowie couldn't get the hang of the crystal ball juggling, so they had to use a specialist to do it for him - take a look at the arms in this scene, they aren't in the right place!

I've really liked him since I first heard "Hunky Dory." It's still one of my favourite albums today.
Here's a rare clip from 1973, interesting arrangement of "Pretty Things."

Thank you..haven't seen that one before. I usually use Bowie's team up with Trent Reznor when I try to get younger folks to listen to him. 'I'm Afraid of Americans" is great as well as shows he spans all ages. Have to admit, the video for 'Thursdays Child' is almost too good at this point in my life.

David Bowie - creative genius? Musical magpie is probably closer to the mark.

But as they say talent imitates - genius steals!

Partly true, I'll concede
So is this a Bowie only?

Here's my contribution. I think more of these guys are needed.

I think there will be a series of them:

We take a look at some iconic artists from numerous disciplines who have left an enduring and indelible mark on today’s creators.
