Could be someone outside of your "type" (physically or personality wise), a scent, something they wore, a sound that was made--anything! As long as it's something that isn't a common "Turn-on" for you, but somehow did the trick that one time.
An ex-colleague who was twice my age. Wasn't particularly attractive (just my opinion) but her personality and mannerisms just did it for me. Very mischievous and touchy feeley which I don't usually like from anyone other than a partner.
Broccoli. But then it did have a cheese sauce on.
I have a friend and she is not my type. Our personalities are too different and I don’t believe that either of us have ever found the other to be irresistible on a physical/visual level. She’s not hideous mind you (decently cute, actually), just nothing I am interested in romantically or sexually.
Several years ago, it was raining one day and she stopped by my apartment to drop off a box of stuff. I don’t remember the contents but it’s not important. What I do remember is that she was wearing a black leather jacket and her flame-red hair was completely soaked. For some unexplainable reason, I nearly forgot how to breath while seeing her in that jacket with wet, slicked hair and a friendly yet apologetic smile on her face for popping in with little notice and needing to immediately head back out. She looked more beautiful than I had ever seen her before. She looked hot. I had a brief fantasy of following her out into the rain and... well, I plead the fifth on the last part. ;)
Wet hair and a black leather jacket aren’t usually sexual triggers of mine but on that day, oh boy were they ever.
