I am a P.C.A. (personal care assistant) to special needs young adults.
I have been working for the same agency for over 14 years. I LOVE
my job. And I also work for a second agency providing respite care
on the weekends.

I'm a retired aerospace engineer, so my "pay" is a government pension check. And it all goes to paying the bills and for my wife's shoes and clothes...and for her flight to see her boyfriend in Michigan!

I used to own a website design business, but there wasn't much profit in it, so I quit doing that. Now I make a little income from my book sales, enough to keep me in new watches (that's my one and only vise).

I make money programming a training simulator. I also volunteer a lot in a marine search and rescue organization. Both are good and very rewarding once you learn to work around all the political bullcrap and just focus on what is important: doing your best.

I am power lineman, there's nothing like working thru a blizzard with temperature around 0 degree at 4 in the morning, throwing the last breaker and seeing all the lights start to flicker on. Now that is something to see 45 ft in the air above tree top level,,,,Yes I love my job,33 yrs so far.

Currently, I'm about to start writing freelance articles until a local magazine calls me for a second interview as an editorial assistant. My eyes are on the prize for that salaried position.

Building/Maintenance Manager. Absolutely loved the job to the end of 2012 and then a new manager started. I can count the days since then that I have enjoyed my day on my two hands ... so very sad really.
