I am not at all what you would consider a thrill seeker. I don’t enjoy skydiving, swimming with sharks, bungee jumping, or cheating on my taxes. But what I’ve always gotten a thrill from is being with someone new for the first time. Seeing one another naked for the first time, exploring our bodies for the first time, making each other cum for the first time. I think that is why I am so disillusioned with marriage because we are completely out of firsts, and there’s no thrill left in it for me. And neither of us are kinky enough to incorporate farm animals into the mix or install a trapeze in our bedroom just so we’ll have another first.

I have noticed from my experience. The older women are the less kinky they want to be. It's a shame but I find it hard to engage with a woman that has no imagination.

I've found the opposite, but the number of women I've been with since marriage is very small. But I've found that older women have lost their inhibitions and taken a "I don't give a damn" attitude towards more adventurous sex.

I think it can be different for different partners and situations.

For a new partner, there's the thrill of discovery, of seeing their body, finding out what turns them on, them finding out what turns you on. There could even be something completely new if the partner introduces something you have not experienced before, e.g. you've previously limited yourself to straight sex and you're trying a same sex partner for the first time.

Having regular sex with a longtime partner like a spouse, there's a thrill in sharing each other's pleasure and body, in the familiar acts that express your feelings for each other. You can still learn and try new things, of course, but the thrill comes from that moment when your eyes meet as you cum in/on them, not any novelty.

Experimenting with that same longtime partner (trying something radical in the bedroom, adding another partner or couple) can then let you experience novelty while still also having that thrill of knowing each other intimately. Kind of hits on both of the previous points.

But I don't think you need "thrills" or experimentation to have an interesting sex life with a longtime partner, just an interest in knowing and loving them deeply and intimately. My own sex life with my partner didn't die for lack of experimentation, we just kind of lost that spark plus health issues limited her interest.

And I first introduced Kate as a university student whose first time kind of sets the stage for her new story.

This is the key for me and my sexless marriage. We were never real adventurous but had a good sex life until she went through menopause and lost all interest in sex.

The bonus coupons. I got a dozen eggs free yesterday.

This. The wildest, most fulfilling nights we had with my wife happened many years after we got married. Not because we experimented a lot - mostly because we had more experience in having sex with each other: knew what makes as go wild, how to tease, stimulate, push over the edge time and again.

There is also the fact that a lot of people need time in order to fully open up to someone else and intimacy means being vulnerable - showing another person your true self without any barriers. Getting there takes time.

We can always try new things together. I recommend and am a fan of letting the wife enjoy sex as much as she wants. I believe letting her have new experiences with multiple partners is a great thrill. I enjoy the husband being involved or at least watch

With sex, I'm not chasing a thrill, but a connection. I might like watching or reading about 'thrilling' sex, but in practice, I don't want to be a porn star or to fuck a porn star. Sometimes the best things are the simple things. Don't feel a need to overcomplicate them.

Don't believe everything that you read.

It’s the variety of different people and the mental as well as physical stimulation they bring to the adventure!

For my wife and I without a doubt, how we connect in our sharing. She came from a wild college experience carrying it over into our dating life, blew my mind (and body). We learned so much together, slowly, carefully, over time. I had no idea all those things were available sexually but embraced them with her. Once knew all we could know about each other and had done all we could do as a couple without additional assistance, we moved to the next step, sexual devices, toys, furniture, and so on. Same pattern, slow, careful, sharing, connecting, learning together with incredible results and a bit of a throwback to her college days. It reinvoke her passion for DP, spit roast, and so on. With the toys and apparatus, it was easily accomplished, once again sharing, learning, connecting on an entirely different level. Experiencing all the things we do with my wife is most definitely thrilling!
