lucy in the sky with diamonds or blackbird (:
Got to be 'Across the Universe' - not too trippy, more relaxed vibe
*sniffs* never heard of 'em...are they new?
Seriously...
When I was growing up my brother used to play the Revolver album almost on constant repeat so that's the album I love most, and Eleanor Rigby is my favourite song from it.
Can't select a single favorite song, but I believe Sgt. Pepper is by far, their best album.
"There's only three tempos: slow, medium and fast. When you get between in the cracks, ain't nuthin' happenin'." Ben Webster
There are 2 songs that stand out:
Yesterday: because of the emotions of the people involved in the song
and Imagine: What it would be living in an idyllic world as seen through John Lennon's eyes. Has to be better than the world we live in today. If he was still alive today, he would be singing about Lush.
Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds or I Wanna Hold Your Hand
Got to be "All You Need Is Love" ....that and Hey Jude, I like the songs that pick me up when I'm blue, also i like more mellow songs

While my guitar gently weeps. Pretty much the entire White Album, except Revolution #9. Years ago I was tripping on LSD and that song damn near drove me mad.
