I met Cecilie Skog smile she is a famous Norwegian mountain climber and adventurer.

And me and my ex met Evangeline Lilly, she asked us for directions in Copenhagen (I think we sent her in the wrong direction)
John Cuzak bummed a cigarette from me and bought me a beer, in a bar in NYC. All the time I kept thinking "he sure looks like John Cuzak." When he left the bartender said "do you know who that was?" And then told me.

It was better I didn't know, thus avoiding being star-struck. We didn't talk much, but he was a nice guy.
A few years ago I got the chance to meet Romeo Santos who is a famous Hispanic singer.
There was a very famous Colombian soap opera a few years ago called Yo soy Betty, la fea.

And then there were the remakes. In USA the remake was called Ugly Betty.

Spain also had a remake (I believe that earlier than the one in USA) and, even if I had no intention to watch it at all, I got addicted to it because it was really funny. I ended in a forum dedicated to it and made lots of friends there. Once we organized a meetup and, the last day, we went to the place where they were shooting and met a lot of the actors. They were very nice and spent some time with us, chatting, possing for pictures and so on. One even gave us a little spoiler of something that would happen in a couple of months.

Some of the girls who lived in Madrid kept in touch with a couple of them and, when they were in a play, my friends went often to the theatre. Once I went with them and, when the actress came to greet my friends after the play, she approached me, kissed me on both cheeks (standard greeting in Spain) and said "Oh, I think it's the first time you come... so how did you like it?". Very, very, very nice girl.

Wow famous in what field? Was briefly married to a slimy politician, so lots of Canadian MPs and PMs, some US pols. Shania Twain, before she was famous, Gretchen Wilson. Some business types, with big names. Gene Kelly not long before he passed. I dated A Toronto Blue Jay for a bit, so met a few of them. Gretchen Wilson was the most fun to talk with, and drink with, swear I saw a strong bi side there, if she'd been around longer???????

kisses, amy
I've met a few. Went to high school with Bruce Jenner (before he decided to trans-gender,) Went to college with Tim Russert (Meet the Press), Had a H.S.Math teacher who was the second Heisman Trophy winner, (Larry Kelly of Yale), Met Nelson Rockefeller, (more than once!), bumped into (literally!) James Garner.
Julianne Moore and Willem Dafoe.

They were both gracious and kind to me.
Not counting politicians (and I DON'T) Dana Delaney.
John Candy
I used to go to Star Trek conventions ( I know, don't judge) and met lots of famous people, albeit for a few minutes only. Sometimes you get to talk to them for a little while. Most notable would be Ricardo Montalban. I also used to belong to a club around Buffy the Vampire Slayer so I've met a lot of that cast and even got a kiss on the cheek from Bailey Chase (who was also on Longmire).
She's most famous to me: Toni Morrison
I hugged Maya Angelou once, but I was such a blundering mess. I think she hugged me because she thought I was retarded.
? A True Story ?
My line of work and being in the right place at the right time has allowed me to meet a whole list of famous people...Minnie Driver, Aron Lewis, Paul McCartney, Alyssa milano, Brett Hull, Gordie Howe, Donald Trump.... To name a few

How was Alyssa Milano? I've always liked her...
John Fitzgerald Kennedy
Gramps

The quiet and always horny old guy in Sunny Florida USA
Oh, I met a lot of the jazz greats during my days as a bartender in Bloomington, Indiana...if talking to them before and after they played constitutes 'meeting' them; Charles Mingus, Roland Kirk, Dizzy Gillespie, Eddie Harris, Maynard Ferguson, and some others. Also John Mellencamp and John Hiatt were local boys then who went on to do good nationally. I liked John Hiatt the better....great sense of humor and very low key. Even then he was writing some good songs. I shook hands with Bobby Kennedy on a campaign stop he made in 1968, but that's hardly 'meeting" him.
“It's nice sometimes to open up the heart a little and let some hurt come in. It proves you're still alive.”
Personal friend with Elmer Fudd and Yosemite Sam. I met Howdy Doody and Bob Smith. Gave Capt. Crunch a new box top and told the Keebler elves they were barking up the wrong tree. Many non-famous tome slingers have cruised my bookshop. Lady Goo Goo comes to mind as well as Spiderman. OH! Who cares? I have lived a sheltered life. I fail to mention that I met my dentist when I had a root canal.
teddy kollack - former mayor of jerusalem.
ehud olmert - former prime minister of israel
no big deal..
A Congressman from my state who had served in the US House of Representatives for 30+ years. This was when I was 17 years old and I worked on his reelection campaign for 5 months. Almost flunked out of my first year of college due to missing too many classes while going out to meetings and campaign stops helping hand out brochures at rallies and set up projector to show a 15 minute highlight reel of his legislative highlights.
A determined person with perseverance can overcome many obstacles. They can, many times, perform better than those who are more intelligent, stronger and with better finances by determination and perseverance

First President George Bush

Jimmy Buffet on an aircraft carrier off the coast of FL

Ali G at Hard Rock Café in London

Spent a few hours with Kris Kristofferson
Keith Palmer (Maxim) of The Prodigy.

I got very flustered, tongue tied and couldn't stop trying to touch him (not like that!).

This is not a simple as it sounds. What do we mean by famous? I mean like Jimi Hendrix or Richard Nixon? or Joe Montana.

Ice-T while working retail in college....very cool and funny guy in person.
Jim Morrison, in Paris....he didn't say much.
Joe Montana at a department store in San Francisco. He was shopping for his wife.
Johnny Begood
In the world's harsh wear and tear many a very sincere attachment is slowly obliterated.
