I haven't heard. How much is it going per share? .46?
Unless you have the opportunity to get in on the IPO, and few do, not so sure it will be a good long term investment. The "experts" seem mixed in their opinions.
Screw facebook I would rather buy Apple shares! Their performance still boggles my mind, they have comp increases in the double digits. Take into account 40% of their revenue stream is from products that didn't exist 4 years ago - simply retarded!

Apple stock price as of 11:03 AM This morning

Apple Inc. (AAPL)-NasdaqGS
467.83 +3.86(0.83%) 11:03AM EST - Nasdaq Real Time Price

You may want to rethink that after watching this, Dude. A look into what goes into making your ipod, iphone, ipad, etc.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Very True!! Apple wil continue to develop new products. How much more can Facebook possibly grow? There are now almost 850 million users worldwide . Not sure what is next for them.

Thanks Rach, while I agree to what was said to an extent, Apple has a code of ethics which clearly goes against some of his points:

Quote by Apple's code of ethics
Prevention of Involuntary Labor
Suppliers shall not use any form of forced, bonded, indentured, or prison labor. All work must be
voluntary and workers shall be free to leave work or terminate their employment with reasonable
notice. Workers must not be required to surrender any government-issued identification, passports, or
work permits as a condition of employment. Suppliers shall ensure that third party labor agencies
providing workers are compliant with the provisions of the Code and sending country and receiving
country laws, whichever is more stringent in its protection of workers. Suppliers shall ensure that
contracts for both direct and contract workers clearly convey the conditions of employment in a
language understood by the worker. Suppliers shall be responsible for payment of all fees and
expenses in excess of the amount equal to one month of the worker’s anticipated net wages. Such fees
and expenses include, but are not limited to expenses associated with recruitment, processing or
placement of both direct and contract Workers.

Prevention of Under Age Labor
Child labor is strictly prohibited. Suppliers shall not employ children. The minimum age for
employment or work shall be 15 years of age, the minimum age for employment in that country, or the
age for completing compulsory education in that country, whichever is higher. This Code does not
prohibit participation in legitimate workplace apprenticeship programs that are consistent with Article
6 of ILO Minimum Age Convention No. 138 or light work consistent with Article 7 of ILO Minimum
Age Convention No. 138.

Juvenile Labor
Suppliers may employ juveniles who are older than the applicable legal minimum age for employment
but are younger than 18 years of age, provided they do not perform work likely to jeopardize their
heath, safety, or morals, consistent with ILO Minimum Age Convention No. 138.

Working Hours
Except in Emergency or Unusual Situations, a workweek shall be restricted to 60 hours, including
overtime, workers shall be allowed at least one day off every seven-days, and overtime shall be
voluntary. Under no circumstances will workweeks exceed the maximum permitted under applicable
laws and regulations. Suppliers must offer vacation time, leave periods, and holidays consistent with applicable laws and regulations.

No doubt the investment is solid. Sprite´s video is interesting. And I have been reading more and more articles related to Apple. I think its a matter of time for the Apple does something.

I wonder what facebook will do with the money they get from the sale of these stocks.
I have not been following this -- does anyone know?
I wouldn't touch FB with a ten foot pole. With regard to anything.

Apple Computing will only say they are outraged and offended. They'll never do or implement anything that is remotely 'right' or good for this world.

When you peek behind the curtain, you see what they don't want you to see.

And people who champion Apple, don't want to peek behind that curtain. Simple to understand, really.

@Dude- well that settles THAT then LOL. Apple's not in breach of their own ethics rules. If you don't believe them, just ask them!

*nods* i've had enough glimpses behind closed doors to know that public declarations of ethics and reality don't often mesh - even if only half of what Mr. Daisey says is accurate, it paints a pretty nasty picture of Apple, a company who can afford to do things the right way and chooses not to. This sort of stuff needs to be brought to peoples attention or it will continue. public outcry, if loud enough, can be a great motivator.

Reminds me of my business ethics class. From an academic standpoint, one of the best, if not the best, Code of Ethics was written by Enron. In the end, it turned in to a completely different lesson for those who study Business Ethics: What's on paper is useless if nobody follows it.

I think FB should look at niche adult sites with a similar feel, maybe story related (?), and offer them millions of dollars for their businesses. They need to expand their operations!
Google TV anyone?

I love the responses in the comment section at the bottom.

I'm sure they'd figure it out!

Imagine lushstories.com with even 0.01% of their revenue behind it! It would take us from a "Top 5000 in the world" site, up to a Top 500 in no time.

Here kitty kitty kitty!!!

I always thought Mark was handsome...is he married? A bit young for me, but...
