I was waiting for someone to get out of an appointment yesterday, and as it happened, the office they were in was over a local liquor store. Being both bored and thirsty, I wandered around searching for new treasures to delight in. I happened upon this bottle of Russell's Reserve 10 year old bourbon:

I've been inspecting it's quality for some time now and I must say... it's not bad. Not bad at all...

I opened a bottle of this 20y/o Van Winkle a few weeks ago... I enjoy Bourbon neat, this is Very Smooth, I'll see how long this bottle will last.g9kn3bJbLRG74CIw

For sipping more frequently I like Woodford Reserve.

I'm not normally a bourbon fan. I'm more the blended whiskey type. I must say, though, that this Russell's Reserve is quite nice on the rocks. The did have the Woodford, but at a higher price.

A cheeky Reisling tonight. It went very well with prosciutto wrapped chicken breast, stuffed with sundried tomatoes, pistachios, spinach and parmesan. Ricotta would have been better but I'm out.
