I watched the race with some friends in a sports bar, and although I'm very much into horses, I'm not big on horse-races. But this was history! So here's to a big win! ...yeah, American Pharoah, but I meant your BET! lol
Its a great feat, but in all honestly, what usually happens is that the defeated brigade often go other routes in an effort to win a race when one horse is this dominant (18 starters in the Derby, 8 in the Preakness and the Belmont). It happened here when a horse called Black Caviar won every race she went in, 25 out of 25, including a win at Royal Ascot against the best sprinters the world could throw at her. What I do like is that the owners have decided to continue to race him. Race followers want to see the best horses continue to race, not be retired and sold off. This kinda robs the fans of seeing the best horses continuing to race, so kudos to the owners for doing that. And nice win Buz.
