I agree Tech. Next week you will be in the Sunshine State so hang in there.
Pixie, I missed your post. I'm sorry.
Yes, we are looking at maybe northern Ark.
Maybe souteastern MO or eastern OK.

Going to be looking at a place in the next 4 yrs.

Again sorry Pix.

Bat
Got any towns in mind yet? Maybe I can give you the goods on them......
♥ Listen, touch, and look around in the air and on the ground. If you watch all nature's things, you might just see a fairy's wings. ♥
I think we are planning a 8 - 9 day bike trip in the next few yrs to look and everything in those areas.

We are not going west side of the Rockies - I don't think. Been there 5 yrs in Albuquerque & Moriarty, NM

And we like what we saw when we were in OK, Ark and Mo, so we plan on a better look.
But will let you know.
And Thanks, Pix.

Hey Bat, have you ever read Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance? If not, I think it would be right up your street.
Thanks for the invite, MA. Very nice of you.

Bat, Tech gets more inches than she can handle, and then some.

Lose My Breath is my story for the Elements story competition. I hope you'll check it out!

Clothing Optional Beyond This Point is a fun, short story that is mostly true.

Thanks Lush. I took a look at it this weekend.
Kids needed an idea of something I wanted besides 20lbs of chocolate covered peanuts.
'Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance' might have been good reading yrs ago when I reqd Zen but now?

Thanks anyway.

It's a good read. I read it when I went through a bit of a Beatnik phase, Jack Kerouac et al.
That book was a big hit years ago.

What about Bukowski? Ever read him?
I have a set of leather looking bound, soft cover books on the 'Art of Zen'. Dated 1878.
About 100 pages each. Very interesting read.

Gave up that type of book about 30 yrs ago.

And who is Bukowski?

Bat
It's not zen, but he was a prolific author. I got this from Wikipedia:

A prolific author, Bukowski wrote thousands of poems, hundreds of short stories, and six novels, eventually having 110 books in print. He is often remembered as "The Poet Laureate of Skid Row".
