Yes, the FunnelWeb and Redback are particularly nasty. These are the ones that really creep me out - I saw one when staying down in Victoria in a Country Pub - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sparassidae - it had actually made it on to the dining table where we were having breakfast, the thing was as big as a side plate. I wouldn't go anywhere near it

I've seen those. They are gross. Hubs used to see a butt load of different kinds when he worked in the field.
