I don't mean the kind where you almost got shot by the angry husband either.bpPQ4cZG5alZr4F3

I've been reading this book on the subject of near-death experiences. It's been very interesting, and I would like to hear (or read) any stories that you might share on the subject..

I'd like to attach a poll with this, but I don't know how.
Yes I have ,, and try not to remember it.

Shameless, Were you in a good place?

yes. ,, But I didn't get to stay long.

yes, I have nearly died. and really, once there, I didn't care if I died or not. I just wanted to sleep or not be disturbed.

but I wonder if what you are asking is, if anyone has had the light in the tunnel situation.

my brother almost drowned, and he said, once he stopped panicking, he felt complete weightlessness and felt serene and saw a fuzzy light (we all joked it was the guy trying to save him, cuz it was April and the lake was very very very cold - and no one had a tan!). it was a whole other story for the guy who rescued him and the after math of being resuscitated.

Yes, that is the type that I am asking about.
I did die. My heart stopped, for a few seconds, but was revived. 5 years on, still haunts me.

No bright lights. Just me falling unconscious and not waking up.
I read somewhere that the white light experience is hypothesized to be caused by massive neural firing in your brain in those moments just before you pass away.

I have. It was when I was 14 and I went surfing with my friends. After I hit a wave, another crashed over me and a huge rock hit me square in the head. It was like a bomb went off in my head. I could see me drifting towards the bottom and the water getting cloudy with my blood. At first, I was thrashing but as I began to lose blood, I just let go. I didn't see a light, but instead I felt weightless and warm. Then I slipped into unconsciousness and everything went black. Didn't go surfing again until I was 17.
I have several near death experiences that's why i became too risky now, I mean, like while crossing the streets I would tend to be aproximately 12 inches away from any vehicles passing by and learning to swim on the part of the sea wherein the water level is higher thn me. lol Maybe because I'm used to it.

my first near death experience was when I was 9 and my sis is 4 years old we were swimming then we got interested to a a small boat, because my sis wanted to go over it so we board on it then we didn't noticed that the water level is rising that made the sea floor unreachable for me. I was afraid that the boat might bring us to the very deep part I let my sis hold on to the floating ball with a rope attached on it and told her to move her feet like she is swimming until she could reach the part where she could be safe. i hold to guide the rope until she reached the part wherein the water level is on her knees. When my turn to use the ball, i found out that i am too heavy that it could not make me float so i decided to swim. My leg was stuck on the rope, the rope was around my right leg without me knowing it 'cause I am focus on reaching the shallow part of the sea. I was lucky that I had managed to hold my breath and and free my leg from the rope then continued to swim to the safe part using the only stroke i knew which is swimming under the water without going up to take some air ( I forgot the name of the stroke.) lol
