Just wanted you all to know that I haven't disappeared. My son is in the hospital and is tentatively scheduled to have surgery on Friday. I am confident that he will be fine...but all your prayers would help make that happen. Thanks so much. I miss my forum buddies and hope to be back soon.

You all make me smile. Thanks for all the wishes. My son is 17, so he looked a little out of place at Children's Hospital, but they sure know what they are doing there! I am so grateful that they figured out what was wrong and fixed it before there was any permanent nerve damage/paralysis.
He is recovering at home now. It's really hard for him to not be in the thick of things at school, so he is feeling kinda down the past 2 days.
Will peek back when I have a spare moment...thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers...you all rock!
