Hello loyal lushies that have been in our little pro football pick 'em group and for you that have followed from the outside in by keeping up here with the post. I am sorry I am a little late by posting the weekly, but hey what are you gonna do when your new job has you working lovely hours I Love my career.
Well week 10 started early with a Thursday night game. And DAMN!!!! What an exciting ending. Would like to see week 11 start like that. Then to end Sunday games for the day, Did you hear that was the MOST pathetic game I have ever since. Now to end week 10. McNabb must have been so punch drunk with his new contract, did he actually give a damn about the game. The offense did score 28.
Ok I will stop the rambling to give out the awards this week. For the golden piggy this goes to the very sweet and adorable VanGogh with 10 victories. Then for the well shared flusher as it was this week had 4 great flushers that came in with 5 victories. chas,clsw,Pixie,SouthernJim. So congratulations to all the winners this week.

All that had to happen for me to win my office pool for the week was Philly winning and the game having a combined score of 40 or less points.

I get home, cable is out. I go to CBS sports and log in, BAM!! 7 - 0. Okay, good, that is a good start. Get up, fix something to eat, sit down, BAM!!!! 14 - 0.

You know how the next hour or so went. However, still love that Vick has come back, and looking like a new and improved version. Now I need my Steelers to wake up!!

Here it is the end of week 12 of the NFL and to all my pick 'em poolies. Has this been fun biggrin Hell my season usually goes in the toilet during the bye weeks but this season I stayed strong thru those weeks to get back to the full 16 games per week thing and what the hell has happened I've gone South when I need to be my best. Oh well like I said it's been fun.

Now also I have noticed the "If the Playoffs started today" talk has started and well My bunch of nitwits called the Pittsburgh Steelers just get in at the #6 seed, we'll see after five more weeks. But the surprise is my hometown boys the St L Rams make the PO's as a divisional winner and the #4 seed. Yeah seen Miami go from 1-15 to 11-5 in a one year swing. But to watch the Rams every day and just scratch your head and wonder. I do think the Rams have ROY in Sam Bradford.

Ok now for the weekly Golden Piggy & Flusher award. This weeks Golden Piggy go to a repeat winner in Jacknife with 11 victories and the Flusher goes to Hollywood3. So congrats & well maybe not congrats to the two winners this week.

Jebru's take reminded me of Mike and Mike in the morning. Mike Greenberg was angst ridden as to whether or not he should wear his Jets stuff on the day of the game cause it might change the outcome.

Now to the football and our little football pick 'em pool. Here we go folks it is down to the final 4 weeks. Who is gonna come out of this alive. The LadyX has become the first in our pool to reach the century mark in victories, Congrats To The Lady and almost half of us followers have 90+ victories. So I will take a wild guess here and say this can be one HELL of a fantastic finish to the regular season.

Now while I am looking at the standings. I guess we can now start the official elimination of playoff teams. So it is a good bye and better luck to you next year to the Carolina Panthers 1-11, Buffalo Bills 2-10, Cincinnati Bungles 2-10 (Honestly, I do feel bad for Coach) Detroit Lions 2-10 (Actually, Have seen some light at the end of the tunnel here) There area couple of teams with 9 L's that still may have a playoff prayer Arizona & Dallas. Well okay better luck to them next year as well smile

Now a final note before I officially hand out the weekly piggy and flusher awards.
To my beloved Pittsburgh Stillers I predicted at the beginning of season at worse a 8-8 season, well all I can say is your asses have been lucky since the Bungles went FLASH!!!!! So I see you will hit the high wins mark that I predicted before the season of 10 with a total dominance victory over the said Bungles this week. Just don't do "whatshisname" Johnson any favors by taking him out for the rest of the season. Let him suffer a more humiliating season by letting him "play" it out with the rest of them. Oh, Where does T.O. go after this? (sidebar: Thank You to my hometown Rams for NOT going any farther in the T.O. debacle before the season)
To Big Ben, Hey man the nose looks good maybe that will keep the fine looking ladies away for just a little longer. So get you DAMN!!!! Brain Cell Back To Football!!!!! Congrats to everyone this week! I noticed we only had 2 active members of our entire league who had a losing record this week. Well done, everyone!
