Sprite, that was funny.

Wolfey, yes they will cover, damn it all to hell, if I can't win pick 'em then the boys shall conquer. At least that is what i keep telling myself in the face of Brady and yes Van, the Eagles.
Ya All Gotta Love Mom ...

Dave Tollefson's Mom Calls Him Out
by Doug Farrar

New York Giants defensive end Dave Tollefson is one of the bit players on a defensive line that has ranked among the league's best in recent years. A seventh-round pick of the Green Bay Packers in 2006 out of Northwest Missouri State, Tollefson has worked his way into the Giants rotation and has played in every game but the opener this season.
But in last Sunday's thrill ride against the Philadelphia Eagles, Tollefson suffered a knee injury and was taken to the locker room so that the team's medical staff could get a look at the severity of the situation.
They shouldn't have bothered. You see, Tollefson's mom, Debra Crocker, was waiting for her son in the locker room, and she made it very clear as to where he should be after traveling 3,000 miles to watch him play.
"Tape it up! I didn't fly here from California to watch you ride the pines!" Mrs. Crocker said, in a tone that certainly would have made head coach Tom Coughlin proud.
"She was like 'What are you doing?'" Tollefson told the New York Daily News. "I said, 'Mom, I'm hurt.' She said, 'I don't give a [expletive]. Get it taped up and get the hell in there! I don't want to hear this.'"
Yikes. Did this lady watch the "Lombardi" documentary one too many times? In any case, Tollefson was diagnosed with a sprained MCL and he will miss this Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers. At this point, he's not assured that he'll be able to play in the regular-season finale against the Washington Redskins, either. At least, that's what the Giants' medical staff apparently thinks. Tollefson has another take on things, drawn from another more imposing influence.
"My mom is disappointed that I'm not playing [this Sunday]," he said. "I don't want to disappoint my mom."
No question. If we're concerned that we're headed to Namby-Pamby Land as a nation of jackwagons, we have Dave Tollefson's mom to thank for a well-timed hard dose of reality!
HOW ABOUT THOSE RAMS YEA BUDDY I SMELL A FIRE BURNING
Watched the Ravens-Browns game. Ravens aren't that good, Browns are scrappy but with bitch-ass McCoy at QB they are doomed. What a surprise, Longhorn QBs do so good in the NFL LOL. But what do you expect from a guy named Colt? I heard his last b-day party was at the kiddie zoo.

Now watching Indy and my Raiders, who surely will go down hard today, even if it's a down year for Manning. sad

Man them Rams better Bring It!! against the Seahags. What a turn around for St L. 1 win last year and this year on the verge of 8 and a playoff. I could be in front of the TV next week to see St L will be celebrating a division championship.

Hey I actually see "The Mistake By The Lake" Brownies winning 10 in a season with Colt ( Hook 'em Horns!!!!) that is if he has a coaching system that has a clue. Also the 6 loses would be in the division. Mind you my Stillers will have at least 11 wins.

Well thank you my dear for the post of numbers. Now I don't have to
Until later I will post my weekly piggy & flusher and just maybe a prediction on the Super Bowl if you all don't know yet.ZKVR6d58uHfT
Week 16
the golden piggy goes to a four pack with 10 wins the four are Pixie, Jebru, LadyX and the lovable Peppermint Patty...

and the fabulous flusher award go to chas who came in with 6 victories...

So congrats to this weeks award winners.sYVj40kfPSAE8D2p

Well if the playoffs started today this is my predictions through out the playoffs to the Super Bowl ...

Green Bay @ Philadelphia
Well I would have taken the Eagles on a wash, but when the Eagles lost to Minnesota on Tuesday night well it made the game a close match up. The Pack I feel are playing some of the hottest football at the right time. Now I will stay w/ the Eagles because Michael Vick just doesn't play back to back bad games.

So my pick is Philadelphia

New Orleans @ St Louis/Seattle
Well whoever wins the west that is their playoffs because I just can't see the defenses of either the Lambs or Seahags keeping the Saints below 40 points.

So my pick New Orleans

New Orleans @ Atlanta
Flip a coin. I would just like to see Atlanta and I will tell you why in a moment.

Philadelphia @ Chicago
This could be the defensive battle that the vintage fans would just love. If it's in-climate weather in Chicago it will be a low score if the weather is favorable score could get high but I just don't see it. This will be who survives the battle. To which I see the Eagles coming out on top.

Philadelphia is my pick

Philadelphia @ Atlanta
You know that a player playing against a former team is an always sure thing the player want to embarrass his former team. I do see the Eagles with an All~Pro game from Vick can and will get past to make the trip to Dallas for the Super Bowl.

So as of today here is my Super Bowl matchup Philadelphia vs Pittsburgh
Then it will be my Stillers that will get Lucky #7

tenacious: persistent in maintaining, adhering to, or seeking something valued or desired.

Hint: 7
Wow, the Rams absolutely laid an egg tonight. Their receivers were useless, and the offensive line couldn't protect Bradford in the final minutes. Also, how do you get a delay of game penalty when you are rushing to get a play off before the previous one can be reviewed? Or maybe that was just bad officiating, and they didn't reset the play clock. The officials for that game certainly didn't seem to have a clue. Bullshit holding calls, completely missing an offside penalty early in the game, and absolutely blowing spotting the ball after a run where the full back for the Seahawks was clearly stopped at the line of scrimmage, but was given a full yard more, for the first down. Not the kind of officiating you want in a "Win and you're in" game.

RAIDERS WENT 8-8! PLUS MANAGED TO KICK THE SAN DIEGO CHOKERS AND THE KANSAS CITY QUIEFS IN THE TEETH TWICE EACH!

CONGRATULATIONS BOYS
!

Hello one and all here it is week 17 and the end of the NFL regular season and to our Inaugural Lush Pro Football Pick 'em Pool that I so started way back in August. I would like to say thanks to all that participated in 2010. There were 16 gutsy people that made an attempt to correctly pick the winning teams during the season.

Well you all don't want me to jibber~jabble long so I will just get to handing out the last weekly awards. The winner of the golden piggy for week 17 goes to 11 victories for the week Lone Wolf ....

The winner of the infamous flusher award goes to Pixie she had an astounding 5 victories so to Pixie here is the last weekly flusher award ....

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Now to the Inaugural Lush Pro Football Pick 'em Pool (regular season) yearly awards. Before I start handing out all these awards I again would like to say thanks to all of you that joined in to participate for the Inaugural Lush Pro Football Pick 'em Pool. It was my pleasure to do this and I will say I hope to see all of you next season when it all starts up again in September.

There was a total of 16 folks that came aboard for the inaugural season and out of those 16 folks, 9 played every week so I am happy that over 50% played out the complete season. I know things came up during the season when you couldn't be here every time and I do thank you for all the attempts.

I would also like to say the weekly awards of the golden piggy and the now infamous flusher were well distributed. The golden piggy was won 26 times by 11 of 16 who participated. The top 3 in winning the weekly golden piggy were 1.Jacknife and Lone Wolf with 4 golden piggy awards and 3.gerryooo and Pixie with 3 golden piggy awards.
The infamous flusher award was just as popular, this award was won 22 times by 14 of 16 who participated. The 2 that did not win this award, well lets just say they out-housed before they could win this infamous award. The top or should I say the plunger 3 were 1.Peppermint Patty she accomplished winning 4 flushers. 2.Pixie won 3 flushers. 3.chas and SouthernJim won 2 flushers.
Now I think we all should give Pixie a big applause because she came away with the most weekly awards of 6. Also to Jacknife for being the first to win 2 awards. Winning the golden piggy and the infamous flusher. Also Jacknife was the first to win 2 golden piggy's. Then we have a golden piggy award winner one week and the infamous flusher award the next week go to SouthernJim and Pixie. You two went from penthouse to outhouse.
We have an award for most wins in a week and that honor goes to VanGogh she had 12 wins in week 15. Nine players here tied with 11 wins in a week. 17 tied with 10 wins in a week.
Ok and finally the overall winners in the Inaugural Lush Pro Football Pick 'em Pool (regular season) are ...

1 Xuani Trinh 134 134-115
2 VanGogh 130 130-119
3 Pixie 127 127-122
4 Jacknife 126 126-123
5 eiotis123 126 126-123
6 gerryooo 126 126-123
7 Lone Wolf 124 124-125
8 Jebru 119 119-130
9 Peppermint Patty 117 117-132
10 chas 102 102-147
11 heraussiebaby 94 94-155
12 Hollywood3 89 89-160
13 clsw 85 85-151
14 SouthernJim 66 66-183
15 INNOCENTMISERY 25 25-224
16 Remington 14 14-235

As you can see the top 3 spots were won by women. Pixie proclaim that she is a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and she had no clue why she was doing so good here. Also that 10 of 16 won 100+ The top 6 had winning records. Good ole Lone Wolf aka Charlie Brown was 1 stinking win from breaking even. Also half of the participants were within 25 of the top spot.

Now before I end here I must give you all a reminder we keep on playing through out the playoffs. So good luck on the final picks and lets all have fun watching. 11 games left.

GO STILLERS!!!! BLACK n GOLD!!!!

Oaktown baby! in yo faces!

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Woohoo, 4 for 4 baby. Wait, what.....ahhh shazzbat!!!!

Well that record proves that I was terribly inconsistent doesn't it. But still Pats had the Best record in the league so I am happy.
I just discovered this thread but....

GO PATS!!!
wow ... the playoffs look so different now with the surprising win of Seattle and the loss of Philly (just my humble opinion .... and yes, Green Bay played GREAT ... a deserved win).

maybe this is the year of the Surprising SuperBowl Winner??

You think Pittsburgh is a Surprise? Going For 7 Baby!!!!
First things first. Let's wait and see whether the Steelers can beat the Ravens at Heinz Field on Saturday. Going to be one ugly, tough and close motherfucker of a game.
