I probably wouldn't have even heard about who won the Miss USA pageant except for the fact that she was reported to be the first Muslim winner of Miss USA. Then I saw her pics- how beautiful. Takes me back to being a little girl and watching these pageants and pretending I was one of those girls.

On the bright side- she won an amateur pole dancing competition a couple years ago, so it's good to have a girl with skillz representing us on the Miss Universe pageant!

I have and do know many people either from Lebanon or of Lebanese ancestry. I can testify from personal experience about the the beauty of Lebanese women.
