Nice Dress, Principal!

NOVEMBER 10--Meet Tracy Tredway. The Indiana elementary school principal was leaving a Halloween party at a bar when cops spotted him walking unsteadily. Which, of course, could have been on account of the high heels he was wearing along with a pink dress and wig. But when Tredway, 43, got into his car and began weaving across the road, Argos Police Department officers quickly pulled over his vehicle. After failing field sobriety tests, Tredway was arrested November 1 on a misdemeanor drunk driving charge (his blood alcohol content was .188, more than twice the legal limit). Tredway, pictured below in a Marshall County Sheriff's Office mug shot, has been placed on paid leave from his post heading Riddle Elementary School.

So he was just over the limit on the old days!

In 1967, Ohio began to issue special license plates to DUI offenders who are granted limited driving privileges such as work-related driving until a court can rule that they can have full privileges back. However, judges rarely enforced the plates, so in 2004, the plates became mandated by state law to all DUI offenders.[6] Unlike Ohio's standard-issue plates (which as of 2008 are red and blue on white), the DUI plates are yellow with red writing with no registration stickers or graphics. They are sometimes known as "party plates."[6] In Minnesota, DUI plates are referred to as "whiskey plates." [7]"

So that means all of New Mexico has party plates!
