Duh....I cannot figure out how to invite someone to have an open "chat". i have responded to a few and no problem once I allow the site but I cannot start my own.

Unless you're having technical issues, it's as easy as going to the front page, click on "Active Visitors", mouse over the person's name, and there's a pull down box, one of the options is "start conversation".

You can set the chat to friends only, so only those you've added to your friend's list can contact you.
