First up
Good Morning Little School Girl
Ten Years After
And I see that the Lion is in the house … er, bar.
All good. And thanks for the caffeine and sweets. That was, uh, sweet of you.
My presentation was not recorded yesterday, but if anyone is interested in my speaking notes, you can have them. Just be warned: They are not very complimentary towards the current US administration on policy issues!
Market Day, plus we have our 8-year-old granddaughter visiting, PLUS it's the Home Opener for our local semi-pro baseball team, which we're planning to attend. Unfortunately, it is cool and wet here. Not raining any more, but it has been for several days. We might not be able to stick out the entire game. We'll see.
But since it is a Market Day, I shall take a cup of Red Rose in my travel mug, then take my mug and go!
Y'all take care out there, y'hear?

Bear, most of us in the US are not feeling very complimentary towards our US policies either. You won’t hurt our feelings.
It’s another chilly day here in Mackinaw City. Currently 46F 🙀 but at least the sun is shining brightly this morning. And it’s the weekend! So we can go for a drive (too cold for the bike ride I had originally planned) after lunch and check out what’s new in Cheboygan.
It looks like things warm up a bit next week. Which will be nice because we will need to walk or bike everywhere once we go over to the island for two weeks starting Friday.
I hope y’all have some fun planned this weekend. Bear, enjoy your granddaughter’s visit. My oldest grandson is showing signs of being a moody teen at 11 and a 1/2. 🙀 So enjoy how lovely 8 year olds can be.
I will take my tea to go as well. My bottle is also Canadian. Lol!

Ryan Reynolds as the smartass, wisecracking face of Canada was not on my bingo card at the start of the century but, dang, he's done well playing that role. Timmie's now has him shilling his "Ryan's Eggs" on their breakfast menu. And he put a ring on Blake Lively, which shows he has good taste in women to boot.
Good morning. Just listening to melodic death metal and plotting to rebuild my computer. Nothing major. A strong mug of tea would go well.
A vacation encounter as a man seeks to cope with a less than merry holiday season
So, good morning, everybody!
(opens the windows) WHEW.
Smells like Saturday night at the whore house.
Not that I would know what that smells like – but I've been told, y'see.
Anyway, moving right along…
Let's get some caffeine going, shall we?
Lights on, Lady Dryad has cleaned up and we’re ready to go.
Tea Kettle is refilled and ready. There are pots of Red Rose and Lasang Salchow teas available on the sideboard, plus all the other fine teas in the box. Sachets of Swiss Miss are available, along with the usual mound of mini marshmallows.
Big Bertha has been cleaned, rinsed, and refilled, and is ready to go.
Today we're using Loon Call Breakfast Blend coffee beans from Muskoka Coffee Roasters, particularly appropriate – given that it's cottage country time around these parts!
I've put out donuts.
Plus I've got some buttercream cuppycakes in Kat's honour for 500+ stories ("and the hits just keep on cummin'!"), 40,000 flames, and being Lush's all-time favourite author!
As well as one of the original barflies around this dump.
YEA KAT!
I'm gonna grab a Bear-sized mug of Red Rose tea, a dozen or so cuppycakes, and see if Kimmi's Korner needs frosting…
Take care out there, 'K?

Early Moods is new on me but that is some nice old school heavy metal. I almost expected Ozzy Osbourne and Tony Iommi to show up. Thanks, lion. Got my head banging a bit. 🤘
Just whipped up some pancakes for breakfast. Got stuff to do today since I blew off most of yesterday reconfiguring my laptop to boot both Linux and Windows. Linux is for me. Windows is mostly for my wife when she borrows it.
Tea, please.

You had me at cuppycakes! Yum!

And it's a new week, but the same old me.
HOORAY!
Caffeine, I think. I think, therefore I caffeinate.
I think.
Lights on, Lady Dryad has cleaned up and we’re ready to rumble.
Either that, or is the burritos we featured yesterday evening.
Tea Kettle is refilled and ready. There are pots of Red Rose and English Breakfast teas available on the sideboard, plus all the other fine teas in the box. Sachets of Swiss Miss are available, along with the usual mound of mini marshmallows.
Big Bertha has been cleaned, rinsed, and refilled, and is now ready and waiting.
Today we're using Folgers, to honour an old soldier on this, America's Memorial Day.
I've put out donuts.
And for a change, I've put out some yogurty thingies.
Time to get healthy around here, eh?
Take care out there, 'K?

Whoo hoo! The temp outside is supposed to hit 61 F this afternoon! (Although it's still 47 out right now). Hoping to play some mini-golf in town later today. It'll be nice to be able to spend some time outside (although yesterday we did go for a drive and hit a craft sale in Cheboygan).
I'm reading and modding this morning. Then, before lunch, I hope to put the finishing touches on Boardrooms & Boudoirs Part 10. This coming week, I plan to work on some of the stand-alone stories that have been languishing on my flash drive. I might even finish one! LOL.
On a serious note, please take a moment to remember those service men and women who died for our freedom or while trying to help secure the freedom of allies.

Morning Kat
Thank you for mentioning Memorial Day. I want to say the heroes where the nurses for toblong they have not been talked about.
I also found this old picture from 71 when I was in country. I'm the young blonde in front (with hair) we all were posing with our Michigan state flag.

Happy Memorial Day, Rumpies! ![]()
Let us never forget…
And to celebrate the day and to celebrate Kat’s 500th story and Carlton’s 100th story, there’s a party in Storeroom #4 tonight! The occupants are most eager to please and help yourselves to any toys and spanking implements hanging behind the red velvet curtain. ![]()
I’m choosing to ask forgiveness later rather than permission before from Bear for the mess that will hopefully be made! ![]()
Congrats Kat and Carlton!

Rumpies! A short one, if interested. I’m kinda happy with the feel of it, but would love an opinion or two on if I got the tone right.
Done! 😊 The feeling, pace, and tone were all perfect, Kimmi! 😎

Welcome to the other side of restraint—where lace meets leather, secrets get whispered in candlelight, and shame checks itself at the door.
We serve midnight confessions, obedient kneels, and cocktails laced with a dare. Lush’s finest vices gather here: the submissive, the deviant, the dangerously curious. Come to pout, provoke, or pour your darkest story over ice.

I trust everyone had a thoughtful Memorial Day. Up here it was Monday. We celebrate our heroes and heroines on November 11th – Remembrance Day.
Now today is special because it's … today, and there's nothing quite like it!
Let's go with that, shall we?
Lights are on, the windows are open to air out the effects of Kimmi's party – which I've added to her bill (with the customary 25% tip for da Bear), and we're ready to produce some high level caffeine.
Tea Kettle is refilled and ready. There are pots of Red Rose and Irish Breakfast teas available on the sideboard, plus all the other fine teas in the box. Sachets of Swiss Miss are available, along with the usual mound of mini marshmallows.
Big Bertha has been cleaned, rinsed, and refilled, and is ready.
Today we're using Kick Ass coffee blend from Kicking Horse Coffee Roasters, just to kick things off.
There are donuts.
Plus I've got some chocolate cake for y'all.
My more upbeat story about Islands is well over 4,000 words, so with the deadline looming, I'm going to go with my darker Island story. Now all I need is some cover art…

Uhh…Kimmi…
You let some of your toys out of Storeroom #4. Would you please get them back in the box.
Or rather, storeroom.
Or…
Well, whatever!
They're dripping all over the bar, and I'm not getting enough free samples to make it worth cleaning up all the time!
