With Bear being absent I've made a bar decision, all Canadian beer in-stock will be marketed BOGO and all bar tips will go towards all outstanding bar tabs (PIngs)
Furthermore in honour of both countries ladies hockey players, each person telling our servers the official double secret password (sock monkey) can enjoy up to five (5) shots out of Bear's private stock of Jameson whiskey He's been hiding 6 bottles of Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve (2007 release),
So tell your friends and family to help celebrate both Bear's absence and the Canadian vs USA Women Hockey game.

Humph.
A Bear goes out for a little siesta along the seashore, and folks start rifling through his drawers – AND his private stock!
Which I have now MOVED, thank you very much Lion!
But the bar looks pretty much as I left it – no new holes in the walls, Terrance looks well-fed and warm, and I can't see any dead bodies Miss Pixel may have left, so – all's right with the world.
Thank you, Lion, for managing in my absence – and drinking my absinthe!
Now, back from sunny Puerto Vallarta! The temperature variations were brutal: highs of 30C (that's 86F for those in Myanmar and American) every day and lows of 17-18C (likewise 62-64F).
OH! And it RAINED. Twice. For about an hour each time. In the evening.
I almost called my travel agent for a refund!
But Lady Jay had fun, got sand in her sandals (which may be where the word comes from), and I even commissioned a portrait by one of those caricature artists that roam around tourist haunts!
But if we had gone a week earlier, we would have been there for … (wait for it) … BEAR WEEK!
True, dat. Except I think they spell "BEAR" differently.
It's a major celebration for gays, and we rented a condo in the gay quarter, which was far more interesting and fun than the tourist quarter, which was shiny and stuffy.
I even got called "honey" on the street!
It's been a while since that happened. Lady Jay giggled.
So – how is everybody?
And Bunny, don't give up on the Canadian women! They may yet surprise the 'Muricans.
As the late, great(?) Howard Cossell used to say, "That's why they play the games…"
