I’m chillin’ this weekend. Next week is a lot. Sister has surgery Tuesday. I have scan Tuesday, too.
Everyone have a nice weekend! Love you all! ❤️
Best of luck to you and your sister, Kimmi. I hope it all goes well. ❤️
It's still raining here; hopefully it will be gone by tomorrow, as we're out with friends walking around an ancient hill fort. As I am drinking coffee in real life atm, I am trying Moskaka Breakfast Blend, although it is nearly one in the afternoon here. Thanks, Bear. 😊
Muskoka. It's "Muskoka". Yeesh, you would think these English people would know how to spell.
Yeah, I have been there a few times, though my family's summer retreat is in Haliburton, the next county East of Muskoka.
Good morning. Looks nice out now but they are calling for more showers or even thunderstorms later today. Basically we are getting our April showers in March.

Before I start the music, this past weekend thru the storms a ef 0 tornado dropped down 5 blocks from our house as it moved North East leaving trees and power lines down. As it moved east with heavy damage and loss of life across a wide multi state.
If you haven't please check on family and friends.
Agreed, Bear. Time changes suck. Especially “springing forward”. Kicks my ass every damn year. Doesn’t help that I stayed up way too late reading. Sigh.
I get the pros and cons of daylight savings, especially in the fringes of the various time zones. But if someone decided to abolish the idea of daylight savings time, I would be just fine with that.
Coffee Bros Dark Roast And cream in a to-go cup, please, as I stumble out to start my day.
My latest stories:
Public Displays of Affection - A young woman struggle to help her close friends come to terms with her latest relationship.
The Summer Tour - A chance encounter between two strangers draws them into something impulsive.
Unexpected Maintenance - A single woman, a broken appliance, and a very attractive maintenance guy. What could possible go wrong?
Less than a month until my vacation. 8 days on the ship for 5 port stops. Not sure I like that formula, to be honest but I have ideas on how to make the best of the sea days. I am thinking of a period erotic romance set on a famous ocean liner just before WWI. Or is that tempting fate? 😋
That's a really nice sunset. Where I am, I can't see either rises or sets without driving 10 or 15 minutes. Too many buildings around us. But I am cruising in April so usually get to see a few sunsets that way.

I get to see sunsets most nights and I feel quite blessed. Moving to that beach helped my anxiety so much!
Good weather down here right now. Nice day yesterday and supposed to be warmer today.
Took a stroll through the neighborhood yesterday. Someone had an absolutely massive rink in their yard. Obviously not operating anymore but the boards were still up. Seems like a lot of effort for something you only use a couple months, maybe three if you're lucky. The family does have kids that I have seen around when on walks in the summer so maybe worth it for them.
There are other bars in Lushland? Do they also double as coffee shops?

Busy day today – I've been invited on a local podcast, so that'll be interesting. It's been a while since I did an interview.
That’s exciting! What are you talking about? I am guessing it is NOT about writing erotica?
Okay, back to the grind. Wait! Folgers Fucking Dark Roast??? Seriously, Lion? You’re killing the resident coffee snob. Do I need bring my stash of Maui Omu and Bad Ass Coffee in?

Good Morning/afternoon, all. Your resident English Gent has just popped in to say hello and for a mug of Yorkshire tea. Cheers Bear. 😊 I guess you're on the podcast today, giving tips about how to run a bar and keep your customers happy.
Been out in the back garden most of the morning. I'm not a gardener, but there is something satisfying about removing two dead shrubs and then preparing the ground for ones that hopefully will last a little longer than five years. I also cut the lawn for the fourth time this year. Now time for a little writing. 😊

speaking of gardening you have me thinking of the best Peter Sellers movie, Being There (1979) Shall we start calling you Chauncey?
Here's one of the movie clips
Do you agree this waa one of Peter Sellers stand out performances?

James is a bear of many hats, I am finding, so probably something interesting but, yeah, not erotica.
Good afternoon. My days of working from home may be winding down. We are going to four days a week in office and the possibility of a return to full-time in office has been mooted. Oh well, I have been contemplating increasing my time in the office anyhow so I can handle it.
I am completely stalled on writing right now. Lots of bits and pieces but nothing I seem to be able to commit to beyond my 80 words entries in Kimmi's SS challenge.
Oh well, it will come back someday. Pinot noir, please.
Just stopping in for a Coke Zero. I did some modding, and it's always thirsty work! David (wtx55uk) has a new story published today, and so does a certain sassy redhead. Now it's time to spend a lil time with my honey. (And maybe read him my story later...)
