How about some classic Canadian rock in the mix? Last night, Rush appeared on the Juno Awards (our counterpart to the Grammys), giving their debut performance with Anika Nilles behind the kit. Quite a performance and she showed why she belongs there.
This ancient lion & Jane will be at our Kansas City Royals home opener today.
We have unbelievable weather today to bolster our home opener with high temps in the mid 80's F The big news this year is moving the fences at the K ten feet in. We'll be waiting to see how the offense does this year.

I'm just pulling up to the bar for my normal mug of Yorkshire Tea, thank you, Lion, Ape and the holidaying Bear. 😊
As a small way of saying thank you endlessly for manning the 'Rumplations' bar, here is my nod of appreciation. You all lightheartedly get a mention in the latter part of this story. Cash In Hand 12 - "Another Exposure" - Part 1 Of 4

You have humbled this ancient lion by weaving Ape, Bear and myself in Cash In Hand
I voted 15 as well. Because that is how old I was (well, actually 16 in Lush years) when I gave my heart to my hubby. I almost picked 6 because that is how many years we were together before I became his Mrs. I have zero idea what we were supposed to be voting on.
I finished the rough draft of my comp story today! Woo hoo! Only 220 words too long. Some clever editing should rectify that issue.
I choose 6 because I met my good friend Bear that many years ago. I chose 6 because I started reading many of the authors I have grown to appreciate their craft. I chose 6 because I found friends here and a place called Rump's that became my hangout - although, I am usually quietly sitting in a booth unless someone or something made me giggle... ❤️❤️😎
I know it's early, even in the UK, and I am British, but am I the only person here who doesn't know what I am voting for in the 6, or 15, number poll? Alright, I give in; I voted 6 because I like the shape of the number. 🙄😀

The British newspaper The Times of 27 August 1859 printed a letter about the use of the ballot for voting in the United States, written by Richard Henry Dana Jr. to his friend Lord Radstock. In the letter, Dana reports:[6]
"Our experience has shown us that in the excitement of great popular elections, deciding the policy of the country, and its vast patronage, frauds will be committed, if a chance is given for them. If these frauds are allowed, the result is not only that the popular will may be defeated, and the result falsified, but that the worst side will prevail. The side which has the greater number of dishonest men will poll the most votes. The war cry, "Vote early and vote often!" and the familiar problem, "how to cast the greatest number of votes with the smallest number of voters", indicate the direction in which the dangers lie."
