Looks delicious, Lion! Glad I wandered in … late! Always happy to sample other people's cooking – rather than doing it myself!

Relatively quiet day today – although we do have our local granddaughter here, so maybe not THAT quiet!

Perhaps I might even get some writing done. Who knows?

Morning Bear

Enjoy your omelet and definitely enjoy your time with your granddaughter (they grow up to fast) my friend

Peeks in. Kinda quiet in here. I took off to Magic Kingdom yesterday. It was a “just because we can” kinda trip. We finished the day by taking the monorail over to Epcot to pick up our Annual Passholder magnets. Was a fun day!

Back to reality today. So I’m gonna grab a Coke Zero to go. Hope all y’all have a great day. 😘😘

Morning Kat

We always have to ride the monorail when in the Magical land.

Let's not forget today is

Cinco de Mayo

is celebrated worldwide, primarily as a celebration of Mexican culture and heritage rather than a major historical holiday. While it commemorates the 1862 Battle of Puebla, it is most intensely celebrated in the United States, followed by smaller, local observations in countries like Australia, Canada, Japan, and South Africa.

Didn't even know EPCOT was still a thing. I figured they'd have levelled it when hardly any of the future inventions came to fruition. Unless they've updated the park since I was last there in, like, 1997.

Fond memories of riding the Skyway Of Tomorrow and rocketing around Space Mountain in the dark.

Gosh, I get busy one day, and the whole place falls apart!

Geez Louise, guys!

I've put out some oatmeal cookies – WITH raisins.

Plus I've put out some buttercream cuppycakes – and Coke Zero – to ease Kat back into RL, whatever that is!

And I'll add to today's musical interlude off with a Tuesday song…

Tuesday Afternoon, by the Moody Blues…

Take care out there, 'K?

I love this! 💓💓💓 Thanks for sharing.

Good day, all. Still not feeling 100%. My respiratory system still barks and twinges. Better than a week ago, though, so I guess there is progress.

Between this illness sapping my energy and other life stuff, I am doubtful about the Spring writing challenge on SS now. Just can't something going past the first few lines. Will try but it won't be one of my best, I think.

There's an element of heat in this story.

Disney has four parks now, WW: Magic Kingdom (where your beloved Space Mountain and Tomorrowland Transit reside), EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, and Disney's Hollywood Studios. EPCOT looks a LOT different than it did back in 1997.

Living less than two hours from Disney, we typically get there 10-12 times per year, sometimes going twice in one month, making very good use of our Annual Passes.

Our oldest grandchild will be coming to visit by himself this summer, and my husband INSISTS we MUST take him to MK and EPCOT. LOL. Needless to say, our grandson is excited beyond belief. I think my husband might be even more so. 🤣
